To answer Julie,“East Auckland Refuge for Men and Families”, is small scale compared to externally funded “Women’s Refuge” but we are able to provide temporary emergency accommodation for the most pressing of cases where fathers need to seek refuge with their family to escape abusive situations.

We are then able to utilise the extensive knowledge resource of various individuals, Mens Groups and sites, and the almost reticent Govt. Agencies in providing strategy for both short and long term solution, hopefully devoid of the normal acrimony.

Details of the Refuge is understandably restricted hence only the contact number (09) 940 6236 being distributed.

It is hoped we can further establish a network of safe houses (any person with a spare room/s and can perhaps be supportive company with access to IT resource) to expand our capabilities.

Out of curiosity, I did a search for “cursed_owl_eyes”, and found that our self-professed hater is a 30 year old american female, who gives her name as Darby Daly, and who is into “black metal”.

I found this on “Encyclopaedia Metallum”, on which her user name is Mucklebones88.(Other users have names like “Christkiller” and “Sodomatic Slaughter”).

It is quite clear that this lady who whines “You DO NOT LOVE YOUR CHILDREN!” knows nothing about love; and rather than Paul being “some sick messed up human with nothing more to do in life but cause heartache and pain”, this probably is a reflection on herself. The poor thing is one very screwed up individual.

Shite, I don’t know what to say for I have also given you a hard time. But, hang in there for attitudes will change. Just today I heard a man say to me that he is going to support men because (in his words) “Men don’t complain but when they do, you know something is wrong. Women, well, we expect that but when men complain then something is very wrong.” He also went on to tell me of another group of men complaining and that is the Islander men. The women have roles in the Islands but when they come over here the men and the women quickly learn that men cannot aubse women but the women are now abusing the men and badly. Apparently this went to air on TV, so he told me.
