I read the news today - oh boy!

Filed under: General — Frank & Earnest @ 11:33 am

Well I passed through Wellington aain today, as I am apt to do from time to time. Being the generous contributor that I am to local communities the country over, whereever I happen to be at any given time, I bought the local paper.

Imagine my disgust at the front page photo of a rugby player, ball in hand, wearing distinctly floral shorts, and looking quite feminine too. The last great bastion of male supremecy continues to fall. I await the day the All Blacks have to change their teal colours to reflect this new found diverstiy and all-comer inclusiveness.

On page A3, we read of a teenage driver who ran over (whether accidentally or deliberately, we don’t yet know) two young teenage girls, dragging one under the car some distance. This is not the fatal case that has made headlines in recent days. Another blow for boy racers? Well at lease the “teenage girl” driver is being interviewed by police, but hold this space, and watch for references to the boy racer culture.

On Page A7, we read of a man having been held in jail for six days, following a complaint of violence. Domestic violence. Believe the woman at all costs violence. All men are violent violence. At least she has now admitted she made a false complaint. Will The Refuge act? Will they justify her (she already justifies herself (under stress, lost my job, my grandma died)? But on’t the Femi-nazi teach us violent men that there is no excuse?

On Page B3, we read the first (gay, as in l;esbian, as in both women) couple to civilly unionise in America have split up. Ho hum, so what, I hear you say? Well one cites the other as having been violent. Domestic violence again. Should be fun watching them pin this one on a guy! Maybe they were sexually abused as children?

Back to page A7, a former prison warden has been acquited on 2 out of 3 charges of indecent assault against (one?) prisoner. The 3rd change has been shelved - of “touching an inmates bottom” OK, assume for a moment firstly that touching someone’s bottom is now indecent assault. Then count how many times you have ever touched someone’s bottom. Remember back to Benson Pope, where touching a thigh was argued inapproproate behaviour. Could someone please publish a list of where exactly we are permitted to touch anyone? Back to the prison warden. Rimutaka prison is a men’s prison. The warden was male. This would be man on man indencet assault. Would the oucome have been different - more serious - if the inmate was woman?

Stop the world! I want to get off!!!!

  2. Starr,

    Good referal and interesting topic.

    Outrage

    I don’t think that

feminists are really working the thread in their own usual way..

because these topics haven’t been so openly talked about. We only know what we have learn’t and nothing else until we learn something new.

    (I hope you understand that)

To get away from the feminist point of view we have all been fed for years and to learn of the men’s side that has had little voice is very much like ‘coming out of the Matrix’
I hope you set them straight. The NZ stats are false that they follow yet how are they to know they are being lied to.
Great to see so many comments though.

  3. Here’s another interesting site where feminists stats have gone very wrong for them. It seems while the Australian feminist groups were out surveying women for their safety stats (probably to present to parliament for funding and to stop Aussie male’s progress)
they learn’t men are more unsafe in relationships than women. And they only surveyed women.

    Oh, dear.
