  1. About time as the 1995 domestic violence act and the recent care of children act are both fit for the paper shreader, and its about bloody time for parents to have a say in the new family friendly legislation. We must force this !!!!! Understand the present bunch of politicans are treacherous for the family and silent on a subject. I guess that many would never understand the present problems and difficulties faced by so many good parents as they do not have children . 4 the kids – dad4justice is 100% behind a party founded on parental rights as enough is enough .Time to get vocal good parents and put this major issue into the faces of the idoits that run this country !!!

  2. Twice I have sought the advice given to Cabinet that has resulted in the current Bill before Parliament to yet again amend the Child Tax (Support) Act 1991.

Twice it has been refused. Two things I am quiet sure of:

    1) Politicians don’t care about our kids or us as parents, they care purely about votes. They will only care when we make them care or put our own people into Parliament.

    2) There are many parents who have contacted me with Child Tax debt problems. Many have been hounded and harassed by IRD to the point of breaking. Bank accounts cleaned out, wages taken, houses sold from under them. I have no doubt those Parents in debt to IRD see suicide as an option. I have had them in my lounge telling me that they see taking their life as the only way to deal with the draconian and crippling Child Tax.

There are solutions, but what is currently proposed is compounding the problem, creating a bigger mess that will see a radical change in the powers of the Commissioner of Inland Revenue and his role in collecting Child Tax.

Effectively creating a judge, jury and executioner all in one!

If you think they can screw you now wait till they pass the changes!

DON’T FORGET SUBMISSIONS ON THE CHANGES BEING MADE TO THE CHILD SUPPORT ACT NEED TO BE MADE BY 27 FEB.
