something seriously wrong here

You can just tell there is something seriously wrong with this country when you read this in the News Paper.

Being a mother is a way of helplessly measuring time.

  1. It reads as though Rosemary wishes she didn’t have children. I wonder if they feel the same way.

  2. In his column in the Sunday Star Times right next to Rosmary;s, Michal Laws makes some sensible observations stemming from judge Boshier’s recent remarks.

“It’s time for these legal suits to get a grip. Family Court judges get grief because some of their decision-making is questionable. There is a tendency to think that fathers denied visitation don’t require the same judicial intervention as their partners require in seeking non-molestation orders.”

Well said Mike, although it’s not so much a ‘tendency’ as a blinkered, unswerving, deliberate programme of gender-cide.

  3. Dear Rosemary,
So your roses are past full bloom. Whoopdedoo.
    Welcome to real life.
And why make a gender issue out of it?
We all grow old and saggy darlin’. Not just Wiminski.
    Get over yourself sweetheart.
This middle aged moaning about being a mum is PATHETIC.
At least you get to see your kids.
Count yourself lucky, unlike the thousands of dads you’ve helped shaft.

    Stephen.

PS there’s a great range of care products for the ‘maturing’ woman in many colors other than pink these days.

  4. In the context of what you are saying, I see something seriously wrong. Protection orders often arise out of selfish irrational thinking on the mother’s part. The child suffers from the protection order just as much and in many cases more than the father.
People just haven’t got the guts to acknowledge that this court spends more time supporting mothers to abuse their children than it does supporting fathers who are doing their best to fulfil their role in the child’s life. If there were criminal investigations into this court many of these pathetic little people would be in the dock for child abuse and I damn sure juries wouldn’t be deliberating for any great length of time before they returned a guilty verdict. This keeps getting reduced to a men’s rights issue, fathers being denied visitation, and its going to carry on until the first one of these animals gets hung out to dry for the effect they have on a child’s life while they are busy promoting their own political or personal agenda. ahhhhh
