Sunday Bothering 30th July 2006
The intrepid ones started to gather at “The Manor” from 12.30pm.
Prime News had sent along a filming unit and reporter.
Jim gave a pre protest interview whilst the stragglers arrived.
Convoy departed for a visit to Shona Deluens. We all know about Shona, dont we?
Ben let Shona know how she has failed in her duties, and Jim did too, the “Nazi Banner” was suited to the residence.
Second visit was at Ross France’s, and did you catch that on the camera sir, the megaphone was calling the tune when out came a resident with a water cannon (actually a hose, but it had fantastic pressure - who needs a water blaster in Mt Albert).
Ben got a dousing, then I got a greater torrent, I reached for the water main cover and had the resident pick up a boulder and hurl it at me.
Very shortly afterward the Police arrived, Four Officers in three cars.
The Senior police officer asked what had taken place regarding the incident that had been called in.
The reply was “that a peaceful, completely lawful & democratic protest was taking place outside the residence of a Family Court Lawyer and that the Protesters had been assaulted by a resident with water and a boulder.
Corroboration will be on the footage of the Prime News Filming Unit”.
Most of the Convoy then left for the next target.
Meanwhile, the Police had a chat with the resident, they then went to the Prime coverage team and reviewed the material, they then took a statement from myself and have said they will be following up and will be in touch.
With that the Jeff, Ben, Opal and I caught up with the team at Lisa Halford’s.
Lisa didn’t appear to be at home, but we gave it 10 minutes to let the neighbourhood know about her ethics.
Diane Ransfield was next on the list, Shaun’s Counsel for Child, I wasn’t really happy about her inclusion as she appears to now show some indedpendency from Surgenor ( yes, if the cap fits).
As I don’t have input into the list the bothering still had to be carried out.
Finally it was back to Mr Stuart Cummings who had promised Mike dialogue and some form of action to resolve his issues, which haven’t been carried out so we were there to remind him, hopefully Stuart will now do the decent thing.
Grey Lynn Park for the wined down and BBQ, really it is the highlight.
Sausages sizzling, Chicken charring, chatter and comradeship.

I was at the protest and that “woman” was aggressive, violent and arrogant. She was a disgrace, her children came out of the house, two boys, they both swore and used the “V” sign.
this was the most terrible example of parenting I have ever seen.
There was a ‘family” who came out to talk, a man, two children ( a boy and a girl ) and a lady, who was his girlfriend. the boy was tearful, he wanted to speak to the Prime reporter to ask if the Family Court would take his Dad away ! ( it was so heartbreaking to witness ) I said to the boy ” I am sorry if we have upset you” he said “no, I am scared about the Family Court ????
