Nicola Alison May

In case you’re not aware, Nicola May is the woman who made a false rape allegation last month. For 3 days the police of South Auckland were hunting for a rapist who didn’t exist. For those 3 days, all of us were under suspicion. The measures she took to be believed were cynical and extreme, including self-harm of her own genitalia.
(full story here)
She has since been reported by media to be urging genuine rape victims to come forward, in spite of her own disgraceful behaviour. It is to we men that she should be addressing herself, and with an unreserved apology.
I believe we men have a duty to ourselves to generate as much heat as possible to bring focus on this woman – her case by no means unique – and voice our disgust at her actions and motives. Women and lawmakers of New Zealand need to know that we will not allow this sort of behaviour to pass without comment. If we do, worse will come.

I urge you all to write to the media and state your abhorrence. I have already done so via this web-site at the NZ Herald:
