Prostrate Cancer has been confirmed. Of 8 samples, 5 were cancerous. Within 1 week I had an appointment for a lower pelvic MRI at Wanganui, and a thing with Radio active tracer in Palmerston North. The appointment carries a warning to notify them them if I am pregnant or breast feeding. For Prostrate Cancer - Yeah Right :-)

The Cancer society is positively brilliant with their support Also.

Is Wanganui an Aberation?

I'll keep you posted

200 men per year. Oh well, they're only men so who cares? Only a problem if they're supposed to be paying spousal support. Perhaps a limited screening programme could be afforded by the feminist government for only those men liable for reimbursing the DPB system.

When they do a Biopsy they ask you to take a 5 day course of an antibiotic called "Ciprofloxacin" Care! This has just laid me right out for 2 days. A "Side effect" is serious stomach pain. My GP told me to stop taking it instantly. It also carries a warning about bright sunlight!

Ask if there is analternative.

I'll keep everybody informed on progress.

Going through a Prostrate scare in Wanganui presently. (Biopsy done yesterday) My GP routinely checks PSA. When it for no reason started climbing I was refered inmmediately for a biopsy. Awaiting results! Come to Wanganui, Our hospital might be bad but not as bad as Wellington seems to be.
