I suspect much of the media earns its keep from govt rewards for spin doctoring to its requirements

Is it not fair to assume that once one learns the rules to financial success in media one plays it to the hilt?

We have seen the same apply thru Bureaucracy, Police, Judiciary and from whence it comes etc.

HI Bevan, my point was that these organisations are presenting a campaign of misinformation, which I reffered to as guano (bird droppings). Sorry if I didn't make myself clear.
I can't understand how TVNZ and TV3 can get away with transmitting a campaign that is so misrepresentative of the facts (the cake ad), after earlier being reminded of the true facts about domestic violence and who is most likely to smack or kill children when the earlier DV campaign (it's not alright...) first went to air. The cake ad in particular is brainwashing the public into beleiving that fair-haired fair-skinned men are the only perpetrators of violence against women and children, despite there being no evidence or research to support this.

Wow....
22.35 percent of all pregnancies in 2007 terminated. Given the laws surrounding abortion, this would suggest that 22.35 percent of our girls and women have psychological problems or likely to have psychological problems. I can't help but wonder if there is a correlation between the high rate of psychological problems in women and the high rate of separation, family breakdown and domestic violence.
We have a disgustingly high abortion rate, the highest rate of smoking during pregnancy, and a recent report from Victoria University shows that mothers are the "biggest killers of Kiwi children", yet the Family Court, Women's Refuse and Preventing Violence in the Home campaigners (responsible for the cake ad) would have the public believe that women would never do anything to harm thier children....guano!
