Posters #2 and #3.
Firstly, thanks for the appreciation shown for the hard work I put into collating news stories relevant to MENZ. Picking out one sentence you disagree with and using it to criticize and insult me without a hint of positive acknowledgement is a really helpful way of working together.

Secondly, my statement is correct, To deny it will quickly damage the credibility of the men's movement. Statistically, both sexes do not have the same chance of turning out to be dangerous. Many more violent offences are committed by men than by women. Gang members who commit themselves to a violent lifestyle are mostly male. Men kill three to four times the number of domestic partners than do women, and similar proportions apply to injuries caused by domestic violence. While it has been established that women initiate physical domestic violence as often as men do, the same research made it clear that the degree of such violence committed by men is much greater on average than that by women.

I should have used the word "definitely" rather than "probably". I used "probably" in consideration of the complexity of the term "dangerous" and in recognizing that non-physical forms of violence and exploitation can also be dangerous. But my statement concerned a news item about a very dangerous gangster-type male and clearly referred to dangerousness in a physically violent sense.

I campaign in part because men are portrayed dishonestly as the only gender that commits violence worth worrying about. Justified concerns about men have turned into exaggerated stereotypes and misinformation then used to denigrate, exploit and discriminate against the male gender. The fact that similar injustice was previously shown to women does not make what's happening now ok and will not ultimately serve the welfare of either gender. But men need to face up to reality too.

“Some men are dangerous (and some women, although probably a lesser number)”

disclaimers like this are not helpful towards men. Why the probably a lesser number? Who are you afraid of upsetting?

"Some men are dangerous (and some women, although probably a lesser number)" - how about both sexes have the same chance of turning out to be dangerous, that would be a more truthful statement. Stating otherwise is feminist BS.
