Whakatane peodophile given 9 months home detention.

A Whakatane woman who engaged in sexual acts with a troubled 13-year-old boy placed in her care by Child, Youth and Family Services felt so guilty she handed herself in to police.

The 31-year-old unemployed woman, whose name is suppressed, sobbed quietly in the dock as the case against her was heard in Whakatane District Court on Wednesday.

She was sentenced to nine months home detention.

  1. You can’t possibly deny this is sexism in the justice system.
In my view this sentence and the excuses are another crime to the boy on top of what he has already endured.

  2. Not only that the boy was encourages with a $1000 reward!
Bet if it had been a man, 5 years at least, and name suppression – Yeah right.

  3. this is just plain discusting!!!!,

If it was a male, would be easily prison for 4 or 5 years, yet a female, who is a repeat offender (having previously pleded guilty in the past to unlawful sexual connection under 16…. only gets 9 months home detention, where she could possibly do it again!!!!

    Bloody judical system

  4. Surely when society deems women to be the better carer than men (yet in the UK commit more child abuse) the sentence for breaking the myth should be greater than for men as society is geared up to favour them in all child cases. (Abuse or divorce etc) Yet the NSPCC does not have the balls to gear its adverts on TV to the real cause of child abuse. Preferring to maintain the myth of male child abuse because the majority abusers women can’t handle the truth.

We see this in all cases of false rape allegations in the UK. The victim is the man accused of the violation. The perpetrator is the woman making the allegation. Yet in UK the accused is named and shamed before any trial. When he is found innocent (Ben Freeman UK former TV star) his career is over. When any charges are dropped (Footballer Rhobino falsely accused in Leeds UK – later charges dropped. What is going on there?

  5. There are undertones that suggest that the 13yr old boy was blamed
for the paedophilia committed by an approved CYFS caregiver.
Yes, we get it. Boys are bad. Girls are good, even when the girl is a kiddy-fucker and the boy is her victim.

The boy is considered the instigator because he ‘came in to her
    room
‘ and ‘There was no pursuing of this young man — no seeking out‘ according to the Judge. She already had a previously abused KID in her power & control by having him stay in HER home with her. The grown-up didn’t say NO. Instead she said YES for 10 weeks.

Was it really guilt that caused her to confess OR did her new
    boy-friend become too demanding?
It’s terrible when a woman competes to be the victim even when she is obviously the abuser. Who cares anyway? He’ll only grow up to be a worthless man!

Protect our children? Not if it has a penis!
May the only remaining testicle of Judge Louis Bidois dry up and fall off.
