Feminists in denial about how they are failing girls.

There is ever growing awareness of the negative outcomes of modern feminism. Feminists themselves of course refuse to acknowledge any responsibilities.

Read this – http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2010/06/01/2914863.htm

The New South Wales Bureau of Crime Statistics says there has been a 15 per cent increase in the number of violent incidents on schools grounds involving girls in the past five years.

Those figures prompted Charles Darwin University psychology lecturer, Dr Peter Forster, to say that the rise of feminism could be responsible for girls’ aggressive behaviour.

OK so nothing anyone with a brain couldn’t accept as reasonable and supported by the evidence. Well…

But NSW Women’s Electoral Lobby coordinator Kathleen Swinbourne says that is ludicrous.

“Some people try and blame feminism for anything. Feminism is not responsible for all the ills in the world,” she said.

“It’s not responsible for women being violent. In all my research on feminism I don’t remember hearing, seeing or reading anything that says women are entitled to be as violent as men are.”

WTF?

But wait there is more:

Ms Swinbourne says there are still many misconceptions about feminism.

“I hear it constantly out talking to people. It used to be the stereotype of the hairy legs, overalls etc and now there seems … maybe that feminism is an ‘anything goes’ type concept,” she said.

Ms Swinbourne says the feminist position is opposed to violence regardless of the perpetrator’s gender.

Oh really? Since when?
What a ludicrous claim!

Here are some reports and some peer reviewed work with real data that back up the link between feminism and violence.

  1. Hard Core Dave,

    – “How Feminism endorses violence”
    – “Sweet Briar College”
    – Valerie Solanes 1967:

    …destroy the male sex…
    to produce only females…
must begin immediatly to do so…
the male is a biological accident…
the male is a in complete female, a walking abortion…
to be male is to be deficient…
    maleness is a deficiency disease…
    he is a half-dead, unresponsive lump…
he is trapped in a twilight zone halfway between humans and apes…
the males are unfit even for stud service…
to call a man an animal is to flatter him, he is a machine, a walking dildo…
he’ll swim through a river of snot, wade nostril deep through a mile of vomit if he thinks there’ll be a friendly pussy awaiting him…
    men have pussy envy…
srewing is, for a men, a defence against his desire to be female…

(and that was only a very small extract)

I wonder what she was on.

  2. This is interesting,

    Dr Peter Forster

A theory is proposed by an academic, one would expect a reponse, but why the NSW Women’s Electoral Lobby coordinator Kathleen Swinbourne, who is she?

So, who am I? I’m a feminist fromway back. My initial involvement
with WEL was back in the mid to late 90’s while I was at university. During that time I spent a couple of years on the WEL Executive, with both WEL NSW and WEL Australia. As a single mother I had a particular interest in family issues, particularly those affecting sole parents. My involvement with WEL gave me the impetus to start up the Sole Parents’ Union, of which I am still President

This is the same woman who has a track record on Child Support that shows she is pro mother and unsupportive of dads.

    How WEL operates

Since 1972, WEL NSW has operated on the same lines as its sister State WEL organisations, working through volunteer action groups and lobbying through submissions, letters and dialogue with governments. Members have constantly participated in public debate in the media. Many such as Wendy McCarthy, Eva Cox, Edna Ryan, June Surtees, Dorothy Simons and Joan Bielski became particularly effective media performers. Wendy McCarthy’s media management skills meant we were frequently in the news, always credible, in demand by the media as ‘good talent’. WEL NSW has always been able to skillfully put forward a feminist perspective on issues such as abortion, prostitution, sexual assault, education and employment. Jane Gardiner continues to present WEL in the media in the tradition of our founding members.

From time to time and as the need arises, WEL NSW has participated at the national level in the development of national policy through consultations, conferences and submissions to successive Federal Governments and has appeared for WEL Australia in the national industrial courts. WEL NSW set up action groups to articulate policy on specific feminist concerns and then to lobby for the implementation of these policies by governments and public institutions.

This woman is a skilled operator, no mention of her bias against men in the article, she is treated as an expert with intricate knowledge of these issues, yet she is merely a self confessed feminist lobbyist.

Learn from the enemy they are very organised!

    Regards

  3. It’s not only girls that feminism is failing, it’s the whole of society!

    Comment by Scott B — Thu 3rd June 2010 @ 2:49 pm

  4. Yes. Feminists just don’t seem to understand that men, women and children are linked together in this thing called the family, and families are what society is based on. You cannot attack men and pull down men without doing the same to the whole of society.

Feminists just don’t get this, but then again thinking of the rest of society requires going away from their narcissistic world-view.

  5. The feminist view is that “family” consists of mother and children.

  6. That’s because feminists have never been about equality.

  7. A gem from Fred in keeping with the theme of the thread…….which continues to unravel reducing social fabric to tatters.

  8. As well as failing young girls, feminists ultimately failed themselves. If you go to to this site and scroll down to ‘When Feminists Implode’ you can see where the feminist bigot Sinead O’Connor is at now. A good read for any young women who might be teetering on the brink of bad life decisions as the article says
