FROM THE CRADLE TO THE JAIL
British psychiatrist Theodore Dalrymple is in New Zealand in October to speak to concerned groups and leaders about how policy decisions contribute to our country’s appalling crime rate. He has seen the growth of a dispirited, crime-ridden underclass in Britain and believes NZ is following a similar downward path, as a result of policies that have given us squalor in the midst of extreme wealth.
Dalrymple’s views are formed from many hard years of experience as a prison and hospital psychiatrist dealing with criminals, the impoverished communities and dysfunctional families they came from.

Its obvious he has a vast amount of experience. Its a pity its in a system that is failing worldwide and our country miserably. I refer to the 85% percent re-ofending rate etc, etc. One can’t get a higher failure rate if he/she were to try.
Placebo effect is around 25-40% which is a better success rate than the system British psychiatrist Theodore Dalrymple has gained his vast body of experience from
I’m sure he enjoyed his free holiday in New Zealand.
