CYF “name and shame” website
The blog site that names and shames CYF employees who parents have felt bullied or intimidated by, has caused reaction from PSA union and CYF general manager Lorraine Williams, who says she “could not promise teh department will always get it right”.
Well the solution is obvious – to set up a complaints Authority to investigate such allegations and grievances, as United Future deputy leader Judy Turner said today.
It would aslo do a lot of other good. Is this a generally agreed good idea?
I agree their needs to be a complaints authority.

Another complaints authority? Be as effective as the PCA no doubt.
Problem is that no one trusts complaints authorities as they just become another layer of dross.
Its not removing causes its adding another layer of bureaucracy.
So from my view no, not a generally agreed good idea.

I reckon the best complaints authority is sites such as this on the internet. A major cause of the downfall of the Stalinist regime in Russia was not some “complaints authority” but the underground writings of men such as Solzenetsym.
The Communists were not able to stifle public dissent- I will be interested to see how much success the NZ apparatchiks can achieve in shutting down dissenting websites such as http://www.cyfswatch.blogspot.com/

I am 100 per cent behind the cyfswatch website and the tactic of name and shame. Just as I am equally proud of http://www.Handsonequalparent.org.nz scroll of shame. I hope they put up the low life social workers that put the knife into me, as I sent their names through today. If they are shut down. I will create a blog /website where I intend on naming and shaming cops, judges, family court psychologists, lawyers and social workers and I will welcome any litigation. I have overwhelming evidence the experts were wrong and overwhelming evidence that there was criminality.
Judy Turner is part of that inept disgraceful political party that set up the totally ineffective Families Commission.Her leader Peter Dunne protects the identity of drug dealers while crushing countless men with his child support extortion racket. We do not need political cronies of the present Government making up more countless, pointless bureaucratic positions. We already have enough toothless Government corporations gliding along on corporate pay rates without any accountability or scrutiny. All of them have made an ‘art form’ out off writing off complaints over the years.
How can State agencies that continue to be a failure to our children claim that they have established themselves on the welfare and best interests of child as their paramount principle?

How do we hold it truely independent in a country such as NZ. probably the only way is have independent (Not Jucicial, Lawyers, S/W’s, or similar) just joe public, on local panels with power to walk into offices and sieze files

These Authorities/Commissions/Onbudsmen/etc have proved useless to Javan and my progress/complaints re FC-CS-WINZ-School-Local body networks etc, over the last 12 years and I have heard similar from many others some on this forum.

The correlation between the conniving cyfs, cops and family court is beyond belief, as my experience indicates that they operate in highly secretive/lewd world where alienated parents are often not even told of hearings where orders are rubber stamped by a sinister judge . I attended a family group conference ( the week before Christmas ) and a judge said to me he is sick and tired of lawyers and cyfs staff deliberately shutting children out of the lives of biological families. He thanked me for my meaningful input, which should see an alienated grand mother, re-united with her grand son after 6 heartbroken years.
I am meeting with cyfs staff this afternoon on various matters and after that I am going to the office of a feminazi bitch lawyer and girlyman child counsel. These cretins did not have the decency to tell yet another heart broken mother that there was a hearing regarding her 5 state stolen kids last week! The judge gave custody to cyfs because the lawyers were on holidays and the evil cyfs has another 6 months to damage the children!
This family court — cyfs — lawyer — psychologist cess pit is nothing more than a lucrative gravy train of deceit, planned by gender bias government orchestrating a mandate hell bent on destroying as many families as possible, at the same time these scum get extremely well paid for all their insidious destructive behaviour!
Police protecting cyfs employee’s -poor things – no doubt more ACC claims for hurt feelings – bloody pathetic maggots – get hard – look at the injustice – as they started this !!!

The same philosophy is throughout our education system, corrections, health system etc. You might of noticed they are all failing our children like cpys is. The reason none of it worked in the first place.

If it is blocked then here is proof that free speech in NZ is a hollow dream. “Free” just so long as it agrees with what the censors agree with. In my opinion, nobody, even CYFs workers, should be immune from prosecution, if they act corruptly, lie, abuse children, use the absolute power of their position to further personal prejudices. CYFs workers have absolute power, thus we have absolute powerlessness. The welfare of our families comes down to sheer luck. Considering their power, they are really touchy! If they always acted properly, what is there to fear?

I hear that google and the Ministry of Development are at present working on a resolution on the fate of the website .
If it is closed down then the Socialist Government cannot defend the indefensible .Many parents have irrefutable evidence the FC and Cyfs experts were WRONG . If they do this simply underlines the need for a full public inquiry.
However do you think a Government that is built on a orchestrated litany of corruption would know the meaning of words like responsibilty and accountability.

According to NZ Herald reports, the Ministry of Social Development CEO Peter Hughes has told taxpayer-funded lawyers to “do whatever is necessary to get rid of this website” and claims “we will be working 24/7 until that is done”.
Precedent suggests that Google are unlikely to cave in to our little banana republic minority government.
The battle in fact will attract a world wide audience interested in freedom of the Internet.
The NZ Government could easily end up looking like a petulant bullying tin-pot regime.
Other more powerful governments might learn that they cannot stifle criticism either.
A precedent will have been created-
The sunlight of scrutiny will prove to be the best disinfectant.

How Green is MP Sue Bradford she is going on about stopping smacking to prevent child abuse but what about CYF.
CYF I suspect do far more emotional damage then that of parents smacking their children ever could.
Sue I am not disagreeing with the anti smacking bill what I am saying is that CYF is a bigger problem and more important issue overall.
Come on Sue help us make CYF more accountable that’s all we ask.
We are not asking you to take sides but give us a voice and chance to get the children we love and adore back. If you think the government cares more about our children then we do and can do a better job then us you are dreaming.
Children have been hit by foster parents, killed raped in CYF care or because of their mistakes. Any child abuse is not good enough one case is one to many let alone if it is under a government department who keep getting away with mistakes. Please Sue and other MP’s who claim to care we need your help.
Social Workers have a code of ethics and registration panels, but what’s the point of all this, if at the end of the day the issues are with the department and no one will act. There is no point shooting the messenger with all these codes and rules if they are toothless and useless.
The Government wants to hold individual Social Workers accountable which is great but all that will do is hang them out to dry while the department keeps on going. Given CYF tent to lie and push the blame onto front line staff to cover-up for higher management mistakes I fail to see how anything will change.
Come on MR Hughes CEO and Ruth Dyson do something other then blast this webpage. Deal with the incidences and you would find people would not have to wrote in.
I don’t blame people for not putting their names on this webpage as you would make life harder on them and their families. MR Hughes you are the gutless one by not dealing with the problems which allowed things to get to this extreme.
How would you feel if your family life, safety and security was turned up side down and all put under threat. Once you put yourself in our shoes you might understand why people are so angry and you should of seen this coming after so long. Don’t shoot the messenger (this webpage) but deal with the issues like a man.
One more comment MR Hughes what’s more gutless giving people a free phone number to anomalously report t child abuse to f**k people over they have a grudge against, or setting up and anomalous blog to speak the truth.
In the same way parents of malicious complaints can not defend themselves to CYF I hope you and the staff now no it feels to be totally F**ked over with out any way of defending yourselves.

My daughter (23) is in the middle of a stoush with CYFS and I am waiting on a family court date. It seems that certain members of her mothers family and their friends have issues with her being a single mother. I will give the full story when I have the information.
Suffice it to say, I fully support public accountability and the negating of secrecy for it’s own sake.

All I know that is 19 years ago Dept of Social Welfare and Police stepped in and stopped a ‘toddler’ relative of mine from being murdered. Now a caregiver himelf, thanks to schools and believe it or not early help from social workers. Kids are dying in NZ someone is doing it. If it is good enough to print Social Workers names, these lily white families should print theirs.

A child is 75 times more at risk if removed from the protection of it’s natural father.
CYPS are very good at excluding fathers from children’s lives- (i.e. promoting child abuse)
CYPS are able to work in secret, and quick to take their revenge on anyone who speaks up or opposes them.
A good parent would be very unwise to criticize CYPS publicaly

Hi all, I agree with the comment that says “Problem is that no one trusts complaints authorities as they just become another layer of dross” Peter Hughes gets the final say with the Cyf review panel, which is only as good as the information they get. I come across another blog about “Does FGC mean “Family Group Conferences” or “ForeGone Conclusions”… ? You can find it at http://familygroupconferences.blogspot.com/ As a father I got screwed at a FGC in the same way the blog talks about and done no better in the family court system either. I suggest you all read the blog and think about the bigger picture. Its hard to see how Men will win without a fight and changes starting with Cyf working all the way up. How Cyf write you up in their reports carries a lot of weight in court and lawyer for the child. If you can get them on side you have a chance. Our child was moved out the area so I deal with another office now and what a difference that made, The Greymouth office sucks and the manager can not be trusted. In my view everything Graeme Axford wrote about Christine McKenna, is to kind she is far worse then he describes. I don’t know Graeme but seen him protesting out side the CYFS office for the past 6 months or more and viewed his youtude videos on http://www.youtube.com/user/talk2graeme We need more Men like him working for CYFS.

There was global publicity at the name and shame website as they attempted and eventually did take the site down, but only because of personal threats. OK don’t threaten any of them publicly that only gives them ammunition to remove the site, there are tens of thousands of people in our situation all over the world who have had their kids removed without good reason and even in the instances where they social workers have been PROOVED wrong they lied in court are not held accountable for their actions nor tried of perjury. The internet is vastly bigger than any one state. I say more and more name and shame sites all over the world and better still all linked to each other all carrying the same information, they can’t take us all on, and with a bit of luck it will cost them a fortune to try. If they have nothing to hide what have they got to worry about, “what? social worker anonyminity is in the interests of the children?” we hear them cry and that’s the reason why the lying scum social workers don’t get named, I think not!

The talk2graeme youtube articles were good. CYFS management responds with only platitudes and positive spin. The case highlighted a situation I have come across a number of times in casework in which a father or other family member speaks rudely to the social worker who then pursues a vendetta, not out of any real interest in the needs of the children but because of power tripping and retribution.

Sadly since they have destroyed our families we have nothing but time on our hands, perhaps its time to make a concerted effort to get many sites containing the same information scattered all over the internet, they cannot take them all down!
Use public blog sites and social network sites, e.g. set up a “myspace, bebo,facebook” and any other of the big social networking sites (HERE http://social-networking-websites-review.toptenreviews.com/) Make an account in the name of the social worker you want to name, send up a photograph of him/her, many of them allow a job description, my oh my if ever there was an opportunity to say how well you do your job! Then name them in yet another social network / blog site, then set up a link to their social network site. Perhaps set up several similar blog sites, but don’t make them all public, so IF they manage to close one, the next one can take over. Blogger for example allows you to do this; it also permits anonymous posts to be added, the perfect medium.
If you do this then “they” have to take on the global blog and social networking hosts, who more or less are keen on the free speech principle, it becomes time consuming and costly for them, and with a bit of luck would get a lot of publicity. Sounds perfect to me!
Don’t set up your own domain unless you can host it is a country that isn’t flavour of the month with western countries whose governments like to push people around, perhaps Russia or China and the like.
The internet sites where the SW scum are named for sure touch’s a raw nerve with them for which I am eternally grateful. We need to touch nerve on nerve on nerve until they have an excruciating death, similar to that which they put those at the receiving end of their injustice through.
So many of us have been blinded yet “they” have perfect sight… an eye for an eye!

John this is so so true. CYFFS hate solo mothers too. They spent all the time with my false accusers and degrading liars, then before I knew it at the time I was drawn, quartered and hung without a trial nor hearing inside the family court. Yes I was guilty according to these cold hearted Nazis. I tried to stick up for what little rights I now know I have and they tore me to pieces, and knocked anyone who came in my defense. CYFFS would never ever think about helping anyone would they. This Gestapo has messed up so many lives with their horrible perverted lies and slander. I know of a 13 year old girl who is now beaten, neglected and emotionally abused. CYFFS couldn’t give a F**** now that they have got her away from her innocent mother. Yep they hand this 13 year old over to an abuser, someone who took an axe to a poor cat and cut it from its head to its tail right down the middle and left the poor creature to die a horrible death. This is the kind of person that these cold hearted lying Nazis want our beloved kids to be raised by. CYFFS can go to HELL, HELL, HELL. CYFFS are of pure vindictive EVIL. They help no one, they save no one. CYFFS are the true abusers, they are drunk with the blood of the martyrs, they are the beast himself. Yes I know that women also get a bad time- my daughter lost her children for a time to CYPS.
Now I have a plan to sue CYPS over their interventions 16 years ago. Fortunately the facts are very simple and clear, the outcome was conclusive (in my favour),and the damage very significant. There is no personal gain for me, I would just like them to be humiliated- so that their failure becomes very public, so they lose the confidence of the public and the politicians, and so that they will be less likely to do the same things again. I will start looking for a good QC interested in the case

I agree with this comment “Set men against women has been a very successful strategy. I have seen this happen many times, CYF is the problem and the genders need to see this and not fight each other as you will be playing the game, as I call it. In the mean time the children suffer.. I think its fair to say this system is unjust and needs to be changed so both sides get a fairer deal for the sake of our children. Mum’s & Dad’s need to when possible stick together to spite their differences when taking on CYF. I have seen both genders get a really crap deal from CYF and neither one wins, other then CYF…

Being discriminated against by CYFS because of my gender is not remedied by growing up nor desisting from whining.
My tape recordings of CYFS staff that revealed deliberate lies that affected my children’s safety do not disappear if I grow up or stop whining.
My stolen mobile phone that was held in a CYFS staff members desk drawer for six months, while CYFS denied possession of my property, was returned to me because I DID WHINE to my Insurance Company who pressured the criminals in to dropping their nutz and returning my property almost immediately.
CYFS deserve every bit of whining that is directed at them. When CYFS begin to heed scientific studies, rather than their clinging to fraudulent statistics, then I expect the whining will diminish. People whine for a reason!
What’s your excuse for whining here? Bored? No man to take your hatred out on today?

Dearest John Brett. I like what you say, and I thank you. Your words are true, especially when you say that they work in secret and take their revenge on anyone who speaks up or opposes them. I like to say this happens to mothers’ too, especially “poor” solo mothers who have little support around them and become their prime victims of CYFFS cruel shocking abuse. Once that 1st false telephone call is logged, you seem to be living on borrowed time with your family. Evil CYFFS have it all worked out through the corrupt family courts of NZ before you get the right to speak, they simply pay off court appointed shirnks, child counsel lawyers, and wankie psychologists to present the court with their forged dirty pieces of paper to blacken the name of the parent accused, whether they be the biological mother or the biological father. The reports will read if you are a mother that you are suffering from a severe mental disorder and if you are a father then they will hit you with the sexual abuse buzz. It’s all a shame, and they are doing it for big bucks and our Government don’t give a stuff, they are off guzzling down expensive bottles of wine, $500.00 rip off luxury dinners, and porn movies at $20.00 a pop, and they are way to busy beneficiary bashing to be bothered cleaning up some no-good Nazi corrupt government officials.

I have nothing against men, most of my closest best friends are all 100% male. My my you seem to have a lot of hang ups. Don’t pass judgment unless you know the true situation. I’m not whining, and telling it how I have seen my side of the story unfold over a long period of time. Bored no, why would I ever get bored. I have plenty of good things to keep me occupied, for instance my 5 adorable pure Siamese cats and 3 moggies to keep me busy and amused. Yep I’ll admit my hatred, and it’s all directed to CYFFS and their Nazi lying bunch of facist SS Gestapo pigs who conspire with them. CYFFS are evil though and through. I have plenty of good men around me most of the time, I have nothing against men. From personal experience I can tell you that if you really want to upset an CYFFs employee simply ask them, as politely as possible “what are your qualifications to do this work?”
I dont know why but those few words translate into something extremely offensive in CYFFs land. You wont get an answer most of the time but it is interesting to see the reaction. Frothing at the mouth, outrage and convulsions can be expected as a matter of course from having the audacity to ask, politely as possible, “what are your qualifications to do this work?”
So therefore the translation to CYFFs speak must be pretty outrageous.
I never found out, what it translates too that makes them so upset. (or their qualifications either come to that)

I had a similar experience with Council for the Child in the Family Court. I asked very politely what his qualifications in child development were. Boy did he hit the roof! I had a witness with me and was recording the interview so he quickly calmed himself down. I didn’t press the point – no need to, since it was all on tape. Through the interview this must have been really screwing with his head. Right at the end of the interview he came back to the question of his own accord and tried to answer it.
In my profession I am often asked for a CV or a CV summary by my customers to establish my credentials to do the work they want. It is simply being professional.

Not only men and solo mothers they are breaking up, families too!
I took my new born to the hospital as noticed he wasn’t using his arm. Xray showed a fracture, we can’t explain it. He hasn’t been in pain, he just wasn’t using it.
They then did a full body xray and it showed healing fractures in his leg which we couldnt explain. I have vidoeos every day of his life and gave them to the hosp, cyfs and police as the pediatrician said my son would of been in pain and someone would of noticed. Not once did he show any signs of pain. My midwife, plunket and GP had nothing bad to say about us. Yet even with no history of abuse, the hospital can’t even give us timelines on this and to top it off my son had a second xray to check they were healing find and they “found” a fraacture in his spine which Im adament is a new one whilst he hasnt been in my care as has never been mentioned before BUT apparently it was within the same times as his legs but never noted….
System is so wrong. So my partner and I are the concerned parents, that notice something is not right, take him to get medical treatment and get him taken off us… and yet those who dont take their children to get care get to keep them..
We believe our son has a medical issue, but it’s a matter of testing and finding it which the hospital pediatrician doesnt want to do as he is saying its child abuse…

Ive done everything cyfs asked of me to help my son even telling them my personal life story and now they are not going to assess my son into my care because they said i abandoned him… not true i stated the facts that i was pritty much held against my own will and still am to this day because the father of my youngest son wont sign a passport for him i swore never yo leave one of my babirs in another country without me again. I havr made attempts to go back but child support said they would most likely keep me in nz if i were to return because i owe child support yet im paying it so i cant leave with my babies and i cant leave without WTF

I had good results with the Police Complaints Authority so I don’t think there’s a reason to think a CYFS Complaints Authority would be toothless. Someone should also know about a woman Petra at Marinoto West Youth Team who is really into reporting parents whose children and teens have mental health issues to CYFS for the most trivial of reasons. She really gets off on it.

thanks john for the correction, the term “NAZI” is concerning to me, given that the individual who attempted to entrap me on firearms charges was talking about looking forward to the ETHNIC CLEANSING of Maori in the coming planned invasion of NZ for its resources, and as I recall ETHNIC CLEANSING was a NAZI TERM.
Ethnic Cleansing and or genocide should be abhorrent to everyone.
I have also read Albert SPEER – the book by one of Hitlers henchmen, and in it after the Nuremberg trials – SPEER details his concern for the future of humanity, in particular if we allow governments to use technology against citizens to such an extent that we see human rights disappearing. SPEER predicted the biggest battle in the future for humanity was the fight for Human Rights.
Hitler TERRORISED the world with TECHNOLOGY and as we are all witnessing today, TECHNOLOGY is currently being used for EVIL and not for GOOD of Human kind.
What ever LABEL we place on these behaviours the concern is still the same – these tactics and methods should NEVER be tolerated.
Racism, Ethnic cleansing, preying on vulnerable people, created by bullies and psychopaths, human rights abuses are all systemic problems we all need to be concerned about. Start seeing the kind of world we only
Get to dream about living in.
The problem is: people are so caught
Up in there habits and ways they don’t
Think about what they are doing wrong,
And the solution is people like me
Who is here to hold those to account
By making them listen when all they want
To do is shut the door in my face
Every time because they think that just

I read a lot of words on this website
Of name and shame, and although it
Can’t be healthy to be giving cyps
All my time as much as I would like to
I must say in this world there are
2 types of people…people been involved
With cyps and people not involved
With cyps. I have and no one can tell
Me its a pleasant situation. No one can
Tell me it does not chew up every inch
Of what god made you as.
So obviously to me, when I try to read
Everyones criticism, opinions etc,
I can not help but think overall that
At the end of the day the only one
Problem that I would love an answer to
By anybody is: why is there not a time
And a place for people who have or have had
Involvement with cyps to be allowed to
Have a say out loud instead of 1.no rights
2. Wrong people involved 3. No follow up
4.no follow up 5. And no follow up 6.
Cyps doing what they want when they want
Anyway..I’m sure you know what I mean
My doctor said it’s only normal to
Have a tendency to overthink some things
When your’ve been a subject to a lifetime
Of trauma by cyps. I better go rest so
I can try to be strong 2mw as I go pick up
The mess cyps made so my children
