Life expectancy increasing for men
In the battle of the sexes, life expectancy is one area where women are still ahead of the game.
At the moment women are outliving men by 5 years but according to a new study, the life expectancy gender gap is closing and could have vanished for good within just two generations.
Researchers say that if improvements in health and lifestyle continue at their current pace, husbands will start to live as long as their wives by 2035.
That year will also mark the start of the first generation who can expect to live into their late 80s – far longer than the traditional three score years and 10.
The prediction comes from American government statisticians investigating the shrinking life expectancy gap between males and females.
Historically men have died earlier than woman. Men have tended to do more dangerous jobs – as miners, soldiers or deep sea fisherman – and have been reluctant to adapt to healthier lifestyles.
However, the latest statistics from the Atlanta-based Centres for Disease Control and Prevention found that the gap is shrinking quickly.
Although the figures are based on Americans, researchers say they apply to other western countries such as Britain.
The downturn is that this will come at a cost.
While people will live longer, their quality of life may not improve.
The Office of National Statistics says the number of people expected to live more than 85 years will rise to more than three million by 2032.
The number of people with dementia could double to 1.4 million within 30 years.
The booming older population will lead to higher health, pensions and social security costs for taxpayers. It will also put more pressure on governments to delay retirement age to pay for the extra health costs of an older population.

This effect will take 30 years to accrue to any masculist economic advantage. All of these demographic effects take a generation to occur. What we are dealing with in this crisis is thirty years of feminist driven disparities which are much higher. ALSO the economic reverses currently will immediately have an impact on relevant health differences, probably to the disadvantage of men.
The figures above could also reflect women adopting male rates of alchohol abuse and other stress related lifestyles… in other words as economic forces operate immediately…the rates quoted in my article obtain. The new figures are an abberation, mine have been established over a longer time by many more authorities. Join the cause not the enemy. Feminism is killing men!

We already have most of the nazi states and totalitarian communist Russia and China worst anti citizen and family laws including those that deprive males of any human or parental rights in New Zealand and next will come their eugenics laws that allow uthenasia of the elderly first it will be voluntary then the state will decide ur fitness to be allowed to live and we will have full on extermination camps and killing of infants just like Nazi Germany. Wake up people we already live in a police-state that says you have no right to your own children yet have to pay for them.
No rights but all responsibility.
I am trying to set up a private mens support group NZ wide. I have no wish for leadership. All welcome. If we do not find common ground and realise that the govt Judges and police are the problem then our children will never be afforded their right to a father in their lives and we will never be able to protect them.

I person I work with, has died likely naturally.
A person who in a way, was part of my life for 20 years.
We had conversations, and I did occasional jobs for him.
Helped him with homers, and we always said hi in passing.
Strangely for so long, I only knew him by the name Junior.
Dying well short of average, at about 60 years.
I saw him the day before he died, as I arrived at work.
Him doing a before work run, me in my car.
Our last moment, both a little wave to each other.
