DomPost Domestic Violence Propaganda
This was in Saturdays DomPost. (Front Page)
Police are preparing for a spike in violence if the All Blacks lose next year’s Rugby World Cup.
This follows surges in domestic violence overseas in similar situations.
Police Commissioner Howard Broad has said the “possibility that the All Blacks will lose has entered into our risk management”, and Superintendent Grant O’Fee, in charge of policing the cup, said police had done extensive research into the effects of test matches on crime rates………
In New Zealand, there was no discernable increase in domestic violence on test-match weekends whether the All Blacks won, lost or drew.
“That’s not to say nothing happens, because the refuge tell us that they definitely do notice a bit of a change but nevertheless it’s nothing like the significance of that one in Scotland.”
Not all violence that was reported to Women’s Refuge was reported to police, he said……..
Women’s Refuge said it had been working with police to counter the potentially negative effect of the World Cup on domestic violence.
International research showed that, when sporting events went wrong, there was a spike in domestic violence, spokeswoman Kiri Hannifin said. “So if the All Blacks, dare I say it, lose next year, those people who have a tendency to be violent, this may give them an excuse to be more violent or to be violent again.”…..
I’m sure someone has the time to pick this up and respond?
I’m too busy digesting Dunne’s attempt to fix child tax.
REgards Scrap
I am happy to write to Commissioner Plod and express my concern. I’am sure I am not the only man who doesn’t give a rat’s arse about the All Blacks in the World Cup, or who doesn’t drink beer or watch the sports channel. I’m off to the ballet!

Yes, we had a discussion about this a few days ago here at MENZ

International experience does NOT show any increases in DV after sports matches. They are reported alright, and always prove to be sheer agitprop.
It is the same with ‘predictions’ of sex-slavery and importation of forced prostitutes (usually 40,000 or more). They all prove to be scare-stories geared toward hysteria and money-grubbing from the public purse.
It is high time people were prosecuted for such sh*te.

You’re dead right Amfortas, it is high time people were prosecuted for this SHIT. That would have to include the mainstream news for all their misinformation and lies. As well as their feminist crap, the global warming hoax was front page news every day until the fraud that would pay carbon tax into the pockets of Al Gore etc was exposed

Second thoughts, prosecuting anyone where it matters is usually just a dog and pony show and money down the drain. The truth wins out as long as people get to see it. No wonder people are turning from mainstream news in droves

Check out all the outrage about Paul Henry’s un-p.c. questions concerning the next Governor-General’s racial appearance. Yet these same sanctimonious people disseminate, tolerate and encourage a constant flow of feminist misinformation hugely damaging to men as a group. Do you think that any of these people would have objected if Paul Henry had implied that it would be good for the next Governor General to be a woman rather than a man? I doubt it.

It’s the usual band of bullies trying to whip up emotional hysteria. I suspect most kiwis are standing quietly on the sidelines, not able to care less. These attempts by the media to condition us into a limited range of expression by creating national clamours are becoming tedious.
As a man I hear almost daily far worse than what Paul Henry said. Australian feminists recently coined the acronym VOMIT (very old men in ties) and ‘pale, male and stale’ to promote their agenda of stripping company shareholders of the right to elect their board representatives in favour of a legislated quota of women.
No national outrage, no John Minto demonstrating outside the New Zealand Herald doors for promoting this bigoted stereotyping.
Excuse me if I find the whole thing a big yawn.
