When Women Kill Children
When women kill children, understanding galore
She was a brave victim of a cold, mean world
Struggling alone, a sole parent, abandoned
(Though actually, probably, she grew bored with the manhood
Ejected the father, erased his involvement
What can you expect? Men are useful for money,
Nothing else, they’re a hassle, not worth having honey
The government makes a good husband you see
Relief from a real man’s opinions and needs)
The odds were against her, she crumbled, poor thing
Insufficient free money, services, bling
How unreasonable to expect she could cope as a mother
People don’t realize how painful, the bother
She was seeking help for her nasty addictions
Blame the brew doctor, the husband, afflictions
A really nice person, so lovely, so kind
If she murdered she must have been out of her mind
No penis so let’s not get carried away
With punishment, admonishment, spoiling her day
It’s more money she needed, more life satisfaction
And men we can blame for her murderous action
Great to see Birthright in the Herald. They don’t have an Auckland office which my group is supposed to be caring for. Besides single parents caring for other single parents, they have to take care of their own, work and/or study. Things are getting tougher out there.
By the way Hans, can you give a link to the front page of the Herald. I’ve been txt’ed it’s about CYF.

Are the deaths of Kataraina Te Iti Matthews and Kororia Matthews-Poumako just another case of CYFS assisted suicide and infanticide?
“Child Youth and Family northern regional director Grant Bennett said the agency had previously worked with the mother, and in January she and her daughter had moved into a supported home run by a non-government organisation. “Everyone at the home did all they could to help her but, despite their best efforts, were unable to see or prevent this from happening,” he said.
Seems to me CYFS have an issue identifying the real at risk children that come to their notice. Could it be that CYFS people only remove children from thinking and concerned parents who have the temerity to confront and stand up to CYFS? Sort of a punishment to teach these parents a lesson and not to question their judgement and competence?
I haven’t seen any “outcry” over CYFS handling of this case; so I am going to assume that New Zealanders are immune to and jaded by this ongoing litany of CYFS incompetence. Shame that more kids are going to die and we resolve to be no more than mere spectators of a train wreck, just standing by and letting it all happen. Didn’t that happen in Europe somewhere in the 1930’s and 1940’s?

What people don’t realise is the community shot doors on families once they become involved in CYF as if the knig/gueen have walked in. Families are set up and become isolated as the parents as perceived monsters.
It’s like finding a vulnerable family and sticking the nails in their coffin.

When women kill men –
Remember the Duke LaCrosse scandal. Crystal Gail Mangum’s recent stabbing victim died last night (April 13). He was removed from life support. I searched for articles on this on Google news and surprise nothing came back. Leading Feminists and Feminist Media figures supported this convicted Car Jacker, Drug Abuser, Prostitute, Stripper, Domestic Abuser. Who has now graduated to Murder. No comments from Nancy Grace of CNN, Wendy Murphy or Amanda Marcotte (who posted that “something happened”). Indeed it did, justice was hijacked and innocent men accused by a Criminal. (link)

looks like all women seem to have licence to kill and get away with it.
So women killing man is expectable but when men kills women its murder.
its so unfair is’t it?

Woman jailed four years for killing violent partner
Yahoo!7 June 11, 2011, 9:35 am
A woman who stabbed her partner to death after years of alcohol-fuelled abuse at his hands has been jailed for four years.
Stacey Nancy Woods, 29, of Gisborne was sentenced in the High Court in Gisborne yesterday after earlier admitting manslaughter of her partner Douglas Leslie James Tukotanui Tupaea at their home on May 22 last year.
The two had been a couple for 10 years and had children aged nine and seven at the time.
The court was told Woods stabbed Tupaea twice in the chest with a serrated seven-centimetre kitchen knife after a night of drinking, arguing and domestic violence. The second blow was fatal.
The couple had argued at a relative’s home and escalated to blows as they drove home, when Mr Tupaea punched Woods in the face twice, giving her a bloody nose and a swollen upper lip.
The argument continued at home with Woods initially hiding at the back of their home before the stabbing occurred in the kitchen.
Woods’ lawyer Russell Fairbrother said she was hysterical but tried to resuscitate her partner.
He said Woods was mindful of her children if she received a life sentence.
She was also concerned about the death of her partner, had no self-pity and acknowledged the need for punishment.
She would not be able to live with herself if acquitted of causing Mr Tupaea’s death, Mr Fairbrother said.
Woods loved Tupaea, despite their violent relationship.
Police had been called to their home 18 times between August 2001 and May 2010 because of domestic violence. Woods had twice been the “offender” and Mr Tupaea had been jailed for assaulting her.
Woods had effectively been the mother of her 10 siblings because her mother had also been a victim of domestic violence.
She was genuinely remorseful and had undergone a degree of reconciliation with her partner’s family, Mr Fairbrother said.
Crown prosecutor Clayton Walker said the offence was too serious for a sentence of home detention and recommended a starting point of five to five-and-a-half years’ prison.
Justice Judith Potter said mitigating factors included the alcohol-fuelled assaults suffered by Woods, her guilty plea and genuine remorse.
