It’s Happening

Holding Well Child checks on a Saturday was such a success that Wanganui Plunket clinical leader Anne Wild may do it monthly.
She said 10 babies and children came to be checked, some of them with their fathers.
“It’s really nice that the dads came along. There was one of them that had never been to a Well Child check.”
New Zealand children are entitled to eight Well Child checks before they reach school age.
They are checked for growth and development, and their parents are given health and safety advice and put in touch with services such as early childhood education providers.
The checks were done in the evening and at weekends in other parts of New Zealand, to accommodate working parents.
Mrs Wild wanted to try the same thing in Wanganui.
She opened Wanganui’s Campbell St Plunket rooms from 9am to 3pm.
The checks will be available at the same time and place for the next two Saturdays. If demand is still steady Mrs Wild may hold them on a Saturday once a month.
Stir your local Plunket! Why just restrict his to Wanganui!
As I once read ” Accentuate the positive, Eliminate the negative.
And dont mess with Mr In Between oh yea(Donald Trump).Thats the rest of your verse.
