This Australian tragedy appears to be another example of the pernicious effects of feminism. An 18yo woman attacked and murdered her grandfather because he criticized her mother’s parenting skills. While we don’t know the details of the history etc, you can be sure that part of the picture involved feminist thought patterns demonizing men, beliefs that men have no right to criticize women or when they do it’s unacceptable patriarchal power and control.

The young woman’s murderous behaviour appears to be evidence that the grandfather’s criticism was valid. So many young people have grown up being told frequnetly about their rights (actually fake rights such as not to feel offended and being protected from hearing anything contrary to their preferred beliefs) but little about their responsibilities and certainly not duties. In addition, females have grown up being taught that any dissatisfaction they have about life is due to patriarchy and gender unfairness towards them, and women of all ages continue to believe this despite so much evidence to the contrary.

Meanwhile, this example of male violence probably reflects a similar issue. People, especially women, have been led to believe that their promises and commitments amount to nothing and they should have the ‘right’ to abandon them whenever and however they please. In this case as in so many others, the couple produced children the youngest of whom was still 9 years old, and the woman decided she was no longer ‘happy’ and that is was ok to trash the family unit she and her husband had created and the husband had oriented his life and efforts towards. Such tragedies will never stop and in fact can be predicted to increase until the contract in marriage and committed relationships is given some legal teeth with formal consequences for breaching the contract. We don’t know anything further about this particular case but it may well be that, as in so many cases, the Family Court was involved in provoking the tensions here by making a ‘protection’ order or otherwise colluding with the woman in disrespecting the father’s role towards his children.

Of course violent reactions are unacceptable but people are human and, contrary to the feminist claims that provocation is irrelevant, they will lose judgment and self-control if sufficiently provoked. Why are we not recognizing the provocation and indeed the violence involved in throwing men out of their homes and trashing their children’s families while seizing those men’s assets and fruits of their labour?
