Lockdown Distress
I see media from Australian sources about the pressure on their helplines with the current Delta outbreak.
I assume at this time, especially with the Lockdown extensions announced yesterday we will have a similar situation in New Zealand.
If you’ve found this site for some reason what has brought you here?
A family court case disrupted by the lockdown perhaps? Maybe other reasons?
They found if you locked people in a small container.
Removed human interaction.
Then even the sound mind, can be broken.
So it’s good the lockdown, is downgraded.
Many will be back at work, relationships saved.
Many business owners, relieved.
KFC and McDonalds will make a fortune.
Kids with more freedom, maybe school.
Society ready, to move on.
I myself cannot work, except from home.
Or I become, a border crosser.
Subject to testing, and checkpoints.
What a strange world.
Meanwhile in the distress, department.
I watched a documentary, on the 3rd world.
From personal perspectives.
Actual poverty is pretty shocking.
We are very lucky people in NZ.
Also a gigantic property company, near bankruptcy.
Cheese at $20.
A Clinton Democrat charged for making everything up (laughing).
Power price inflation.
Housing inflation.
And globally, trillions in money printing.
More than the wealth of the billionaires.
Even stealing it all, instead of just taxing it all.
Can’t pay for it all.
What then of the central banker.
Juggling spending, debt, and inflation.
And the lives, of the poor, when things go wrong.
That must be distressing.
For me, my paid work/holiday, locked up continues.
