Bloody Hell
There always has to be hickups when holding a meeting but one would not expect such a big muck up from the newspaper. Damn it, Stephen owes me. He rushed through our write up on the meeting and put the wrong place for the meeting.
Instead of GLen Eden Community House he put Glen Eden Community Centre. Now people are upset because an event is happening in their centre and people will turn up for it.
So should I write and complain to the local paper as to what a bad boy Stephen is?
Highly unlikely, because it wasn’t his fault. It was mine. I didn’t know that we have a centre and a house.
This is so depressing that it is funny. I guess now I should find out where Glen Eden Community Centre is and put signage up on Friday Night.
But it gets worse. All the flyers have Glen Eden Community Centre and all the e-mails that were sent out do to.
I think this one of those times when you disappear for a week or so.
This is that bad that you just have to laugh.

DONT PANIC : This happens often as reporters are only human.
Just arrange with the incorrect venue to put up a sign advising of the correct venue (preferably including instructions on how to get there and a cellphone contact number!) A3 on the front door should solve the problem.

Good on you for bringing up this subject.
What I have discovered is that males doing teachers degrees who are white feel like jumping off a bridge. And that is their words. They have told me that the first papers they do are all about how bad white middle age men are.
Then I hear that management degrees consist of feminism paper/s because they have to consider it for the best of management.
And then, I read that to do gender studies you have to sign a paper saying you agree with feminist ideology else you cannot do the thrid year papers.
And then (sorry about all the “And thens”) to top it all off, I find that I have to do a socialist paper for my degree for business else i can’t get my degree. “I don’t think so” I said. But they found a way around for me.
All of our teaching is feminised and socialised.
But I know what is coming from your end. I know for a fact there are many men and women just waiting for males to get their act together. Feminism will fall fast IMO.
It is an insane ideology.

Thanx for your kind words. It is not that I am stupid but I don’t know the names of streets. Maybe I should have figured this out but I am a mere female, lol.
I have decided to give my son and my adopted nephew maps of the real place on the night at the wrong venue. They can just hand them out and then go back to my nephews house which is only a minutes walk.
The Community centre has said they will put a sign out today but I have to check tomorrow. Thanx.

Lol. Yeh Julie This could be really an experience ( being sarcastic here)…. meeting a graduate with a ‘recognised’ degree in prostitution.
Is NZ funding its way towards becoming a brothel?? Imagine parents reaction if their daughters came home one day and said… “I want to do a degree in prostitution”. Is that in the best interest of the children?.. can predict a rise in TSD’s etc how this will be for our kids well being… hard to imagine…nay impossible to imagine.
