Parents group urges politicians to take notice of the alleged kidnapping plot
“While we do not condone the alleged kidnapping plot of Tony Blair’s son, politicians here should sit up and take note as the sense of frustration among separated parents over the current Family Law and Child Support regime continues to rise,” observed Mark Shipman, President, Parents for Children. ”Parents are thoroughly fed up with the pathetic attempts of politicians to address the current problems with Family Law and Child Support. Parents for Children would not be surprised were this frustration to be expressed by similar action in New Zealand.”
“The Child Support Act has been flawed from its inception; children are needlessly alienated from their parents. To deal with the future of our Kiwi Kids, New Zealand employs an adversarial court that places parents into intractable conflict. It’s time for a 21st century solution – fair and reasonable child support built on shared parenting. Inland Revenue is viewed as the modern day Gestapo collecting a tax on separated parents. Separated parents are hurting and some are hurting real bad,” responded Mark when asked “What was the cause of this frustration?”
“The solution is not complex! Shared parenting and fair and reasonable child support will go a long way to rectifying the swing of the pendulum,” concluded Mark.

Parents for Children is a national organisation seeking legislative change to enable parents who have separated to continue parenting and supporting their children.
This requires:
1. Presumptive shared parenting
2. A fair and reasonable child support system
Parents for Children advocates that best outcomes for children of separated parents is ongoing equal sharing of parental responsibility by both parents.
I have witnessed first hand the damage these polititions and court officials have done to Peter Burns as he has lost his 2 daughters over the past 5 years. The injustice has not been fair.
While like most estranged parents plots of this nature may be thought of for an attempt at getting to see thier own children, however they would not think of attempting to steal someone elses child. They all have thier own childrens interests at heart and are endevouring to ride the storm of heartbreak associated with Parental Alienation Syndrome.

I happen to be part of the only group in society who hasn’t cried out to everyone that we are oppressed and therefore need special attention and privileges in society. But conversely we are the strongest, as we know we can survive life without special aid and privilege in the world.

Err what does a kidnap attempt on a public figure have to do with parental custody issues? No seriously. Its completly irrelevant! It is childish and makes you look bad.
Im all for the rest of the article, to many parents take off with children and there is little that can be done. My ex kidnapped my daughters whilst mentally unstable and according to the law I was unable to get them back because we had only just split and there was no custody order at the time. I had to resort to re-kidnapping them back.
I know where you are comming from, however … the thrown in bit about a polititians son has no relevancy at all to anything, it just makes you look like a bunch of nutcases desperate for somebody to listen.

SayWhat? –
It has everything to do with it. If Tony Blair had his Son taken away from him, only then would he see what it feels like to have his children removed from his life.
It’s a shame Uncle Helengrad could never know the priveledge of parenting children, and the pain to have them taken away from him/her.
We choose these people as our politicians at election time to represent us, and yet barely any of them are alike most of us.
Therefore they represent a minority.

Whether this dysfunctional / misfit government likes or not – the majority of kiwi’s do not want these freaks undermining our rights as parents . The Care of Children legislation introduced by the radical communists from Labour has stripped families of the ‘ownership’ of their offspring in favour of the wider community. It’s about time we all took this very seriously – as the responsibility rests on the shoulders of the nation’s parents – not a bunch of feminazi’s & sick homosexual activists!!!!!!!!!! Biological parents are viewed as guardians by Labour’s quiet & devilish revoluntionaries. Common sense indicates that ‘The Bliar Saga’ is yet another example of the powerful strategic role leaders play in the destruction of the family. It also shows just how much the silly wee pommy git has in common with our own vile Helengrad the compulsive – evil – liar.It is little wonder Russel Crowe wants to become a ausy citizen – who can blame him?

Albert would turn in his grave …..my spelling is shocking ……”common sense is the collection of prejudices ………..” Blame PAS. Hey Moose I know what you mean about the feeling of having your beautiful children stolen from your life mate. I find the weekend the worse to cope with – dam the family destroyers.
