Following an excellent lunch Bevan Berg spoke on the ideology underlying the Child Support Act and the interrelationship of all family law.
James Nicolle shared some of the stories of parents he has assisted and these helped highlight the inadequacies and unfairness of the Act.
Bruce Cheriton (National Director of the Union of Fathers) was applauded as he declared "the Child Support Act must go". Bruce also called for unity among men's groups to achieve the changes to family law required. Representatives from the men's groups present supported the call for unity and joint action.
