Since our last demonstration at the Manukau Family Court at which the management of the Court were obliged to take down an anti-male poster and offer their apologies, it seems that the Court staff have reverted to their old, tired gender biased ways.
Upon ringing the Manukau Family Court and asking for legal help, two of our members were directed to just 2 legal firms. The first was the old practice of Judge Malosi (the new Manukau Family Court Judge) and the second was Anne Day's firm called the Family Law Chambers. Anne Day used to be an office worker in the Manukau Family court office. You draw your own conclusions.
Together with this however, we have found that one of New Zealand's leading feminists has been appointed PA to Judge Malosi. Lorna McKintosh is President of Unifem New Zealand. Judge Malosi was principle speaker at her last event in Auckland.
Who appointed Lorna McKintosh to her job? Is it a political appointment or did the Judge herself choose this feminist activist?
How can fathers and children who pass through the Manukau Court expect a child-centred gender neutral decision from this hotbed of feminism?
