Should gender studies be scrapped?

Filed under: Boys / Youth / Education,Domestic Violence,General,Law & Courts — Julie @ 5:07 pm Thu 2nd December 2010

I went back to school as an adult student to study business, with an accounting major in the hope of starting my own business a number of years back. While studying the last papers I phoned my tutor and said I was disappointed because I felt the amount of compulsory social papers took up time I could have been studying actual accounting in this fast evolving field.

I thought about complaining to the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants (NZICA) but came across either their site or another national accounting site that had already noticed what I had and from 2010 you only have 2 compulsory social papers.

Now don’t get me wrong, ……I have no problem learning about social issues. It’s just the WAY I have to learn them. Instead of a discussion or really thinking for myself, I had to write papers agreeing with theories already in place. That’s very frightening for gender studies IMO, and based on my experience, I’d scrap gender studies in a heartbeat because it’s built on ‘Feminist theories‘. In fact, it’s very devious to change women’s studies to gender studies and make out it’s for men too.

Amanda Fisher of The Dominion Post has an article titled ‘Axing gender studies ‘setback to rights” that has an opinion poll asking, “Is there still a place for gender studies at universities?” – And there’s quite a number of interesting comments with men being mostly concerned men’s study should be things that concern men like work deaths instead of how they can serve women’s wants and needs.

It’s great to see men sticking up for themselves these days, yet they’re not alone.

Back in September 2010, German’s Family Minister Kristina Schröder in charge of women’s issues slammed feminists and their theories.

About Alice Schwarzer, the most prominent contemporary German feminist she said, “I have read a lot of her work — first ‘The Little Difference,’ later ‘The Big Difference’ and ‘The Answer.’ I found all these book very well argued and worth reading. But I found that many of her theories went too far. For example that heterosexual intercourse was barely possible without the submission of the woman. I can only say to that: Sorry, that’s wrong.”

Her response to a question as to whether feminists oppose relationships between men and women, Schröder said: “There was indeed a radical movement that argued in this way and saw being lesbian as a solution. I didn’t find it very convincing that homosexuality should be the solution to the problem of women being disadvantaged.”

The only negative I see with German’s Family Minister’s answer is that it’s not, “There was indeed a radical movement” – there IS…., because gender studies is also based on the propaganda, “All men are rapists and woman and child beaters”.

Caring for men, boys over 13 [and fathers] is a difficult thing to do in all feminised countries including New Zealand while we follow feminist ideology of man = perpetrator, woman and child = victim [of perpetrator] (man).

Besides feminist ideology being a means to collect resources to promote equality and deal with domestic violence where men harm women in relationships and family violence where mums and dads harm children and children harm their elderly, there’s major lobby going on against giving fathers time with their children when parents separate under the lie a man cannot be trusted with a child. I’m looking forward to seeing feminist ideology shown up as one of the 10 Biggest Lies in History. Presently, the number 1 biggest lie in history is ‘Nazi Propaganda’, that resembles ‘Feminist Propaganda’ like a mirror image.

1. The Big Lie: Nazi Propaganda

By the time Nazism arose in Germany in the 1930s, anti-Semitism was nothing new — not by a long shot. The Jewish people had suffered a long history of prejudice and persecution. And although Nazis perpetuated centuries-old lies, this time those lies would have their most devastating effects. Like never before, anti-Semitism was manifested in a sweeping national policy known as “the Final Solution,” which sought to eliminate Jews from the face of the Earth.

To accomplish this, Adolf Hitler and his minister of propaganda, Joseph Goebbels, launched a massive campaign to convince the German people that the Jews were their enemies. Having taken over the press, they spread lies blaming Jews for all of Germany’s problems, including the loss of World War I. One outrageous lie dating back to the Middle Ages claimed that Jews engaged in the ritual killings of Christian children and used their blood in the unleavened bread eaten at Passover.

Using Jews as the scapegoat, Hitler and his cronies orchestrated what they called “the big lie.” This theory states that no matter how big the lie is (or more precisely, because it’s so big), people will believe it if you repeat it enough. Everyone tells small lies, Hitler reasoned, but few have the guts to tell colossal lies. Because a big lie is so unlikely, people will come to accept it.This theory helps us understand so many of the lies throughout history.

Likewise, anti men as in anti sexism had been around prior to feminists taking it to a whole new level in the early 70’s onwards through feminist propaganda where it became extremely hateful towards men as a class.

Just as anti-Semitism was manifested in a sweeping national policy known as “the Final Solution,” which sought to eliminate Jews from the face of the Earth, anti-men is also national policy as a solution for today’s social issues and beleive me, there’s gender studies’ theories suggesting we should eliminate men to 10% of the population.

– “If life is to survive on this planet, there must be a decontamination of the Earth. I think this will be accompanied by an evolutionary process that will result in a drastic reduction of the population of males.”

– “The proportion of men must be reduced to and maintained at approximately 10% of the human race.”

Actually, check this link out. Read the 1st article on gender studies lecturer and theorist Mary Daly and the 2nd article ‘A Nice Respectable Word’ because this is the world gender studies aims for.

……………………….

The sad part is that while we’ve launched a massive campaign to convince New Zealand women and children [plus men themselves through feminist propaganda/gender studies] that men are their enemy, women and children [plus men themselves through campaigns like white ribbon] are abusing men. The 80’s were shocking for men and some were badly tortured and murdered by man hating feminists while today the word of a women can have a man or male youth beaten to death by a MOB or locked up in prison. Feminism totally wiped out ‘Innocent until proven guilty’ and replaced it with, “Guilty until proven innocent”.

Also like Hilter’s big lie, men are used as the scapegoat for women and children’s actions. When a man is tortured and/or killed by a woman or child, it’s considered the man’s fault. There’s strong lobby for women to never see the inside of a prison on the lie “A man somewhere made her do it”.

SHOULD GENDER STUDIES BE SCRAPED?

I’ll leave you to think and hopefully you’ll share your view with us. – Here’s some more to consider.

– “All of history must be re-written in terms of oppression of women. We must go back to ancient female religions like witchcraft”

-“The media treat male assaults on women like rape, beating, and murder of wives and female lovers, or male incest with children, as individual aberrations…obscuring the fact that all male violence toward women is part of a concerted campaign.”

– “He can beat or kill the woman he claims to love; he can rape women…he can sexually molest his daughters… THE VAST MAJORITY OF MEN IN THE WORLD DO ONE OR MORE OF THE ABOVE.” (Emphasis in the original.)

– “But then, I have great difficulty examining what men in general could possibly do about all this. In addition to doing the shitwork that women have been doing for generations, possibly not exist? No, I really don’t mean that. Yes, I really do.”

– “Men love death. In everything they make, they hollow out a central place for death, let its rancid smell contaminate every dimension of whatever still survives. Men especially love murder. In art they celebrate it, and in life they commit it.

– “Men are animals; don’t you think so?”

– “To call a man an animal is to flatter him; he’s a machine, a walking dildo.”

– “I want to see a man beaten to a bloody pulp with a high-heel shoved in his mouth, like an apple in the mouth of a pig.”

  1. Julie,
I’m proud of you publishing this.
You are now proving to be a rare and helpful woman.
Thanks for having the courage and determination to do so.
I know that in being open about your identity you risk being harmed by vengeful bigoted feminists in doing so and hope that doesn’t happen.

  4. Thank-you for your contribution BFTD. 🙂 Welcome back!

To add to your remark…… A judge in America complained that women’s equality has made it so a man doing the same crime at the exact some moment with a woman gets consequences, while the woman doing the same crime at the exact same moment with the man gets a free pass.

Judge Hunt disagreed Monday and ordered both teens put on probation for 18 months.

“The court could find no cogent reason why Jennifer S. should be treated differently than her accomplice, Stephen C.,” Hunt wrote.

Hunt blamed a “seemingly bizarre, sterile and largely impersonal system” for the disparate treatment.

In an effort to trim the number of locked-up juveniles, the city partnered with the Vera Institute of Justice in 2003 to develop a computer-generated program that would take the guesswork out of probation officers’ recommendations.

A higher score on the Probation Assessment Tool (PAT) means a recommendation that could lead to eventual dismissal of charges. A lower score means probation or lockup, not to mention the juvenile delinquent tag.

Hunt claims PAT routinely rewards girls with 14 extra points for gender alone, while boys get 0.

“The system contains a built-in gender bias in favor of female delinquents,” Hunt writes.
