Family Friend – Supervised Access

Filed under: Domestic Violence,General,Law & Courts — vision @ 2:21 pm Mon 7th February 2005

I am currently in Family Court proceedings, Wellington for Protection Oder and Custody proceedings. I have had some supervised access to the Family Friend, Johnsonville last year. During Court proceedings the Access Supervisor stated that no one in 18 years has had supervised access at the Family Friend suspended.

Has anyone experienced suspension of access from the Family Friend, if so can you advise me urgently, I am back in Court this Friday ( the fourth day so far).

Secondly, during my initial interview I was told the rules of access, being be on time, leave on time, don’t drink or take drugs before or during a session ( I don’t do this stuff anyway) and don’t raise adult issues. That was it no other rules, during Court the access supervisor raised a series of rules that she never told me about, has anyone been to Family Friend and had a detailed list of rules given or discused with them, or did you get what I got?

Lastly, I am fighting back against the system, I think we all agree it is biased, and you are up against it. I have committed myself to establish a Law Practice to fight the system from the inside for Fathers and for their Children. The Law Practice will require support to establish accredited access services, a father/children’s refuge/centre and an education website for the legal side. Your comments welcome.

My first goal is to establish a how do booklet to de-mystify the whole Family Court and legal process, show what you can do and can’t do, show you the tricks being used by the other side, and open up the process to establish awareness and fairness. When the playing field gets a bit more even we can win more often and change the current results. Who wants to help.?

  1. Yes I can help. The court has granted the supervisor PRIVALAGE of the last two wonderful access occasions to my good friend and PARTNER Lorral E. It is much better on my daughters as they have been through a incredibly traumatic ordeal of supervised access at Barnardos & then Forensic Maximum Security Ward -Sunnyside etc . My children certainly have enjoyed their third & fourth visit as they got to see their elder brothers for the first time in 4 years. Unfortunately the ex and her family put the knife into me the next day and we are back to square one. I am nearly dead as parental alienation is serious to my health. However you are free to quote the ongoing saga of mine in the family court to anybody who cares. It is case – BurnsVKiddey Fam2003-009-0001936. My four children are very happy that the family court allowed this to happen. Thank you. Please feel to contact me and Lorral,my mother, my twin sons, and my humble self will write you affidavits to present to judge . Having friendly people supervising access is much better than security guards. By the way I have 6 sets of protection orders protecting my ex, the in laws, the sister & brother inlaw and what makes me cry when I write this is that my children also have had the purid violence orders. I am not a violent 44 year NZ man check my record. I have had them around my neck since they hit me without warning July 2001. They hit as hard as the Twin Towers disaster. I hope this helps mate-take care dad4justice.

  2. I am two and a half years into a complaints process against the fascist Barnardos NZ organisation. The Privacy commissioner is even being given the runaround by B’s because they are frightened to release the papers which prove the perjury of B’s employees. For example I have the written confirmation that our family time (access) was permanently halted because I said to my daughter ” I live you” and because I said “thats a nice train set over there” hows that :<) After enduring the abusive "supervised access" with periods of seperation for up to six months, three years later I now have my youngest children for 10 nights a month including an overnight each and every week. We will succeed by maintaining our integrity and retaining our sense of humour. Any/all information willingly shared. Cheers, Doi

  5. I support your organisation, i think it will be a could call to establish a group for Maori men , who are probably the equivalent for Aotearoa as the Black American man is to US, a persecuted gender. Maori men (stereotypical Jake Heke from Once were warriors) can be found in jails, negative health statistics, and are the victims of nazi-feminism which has infiltrated Maori culture. I support balance, however one does not need to be a rocket scientist to work out that ‘wahine-toa’ continue to trumpet their unbridled power (access to government funds) while Maori men continue to remain silent. We also see the press promoting this white-feminist discourse with Dame Silvia’s expert comments that women should have a say at Powhiri; the funny things is that they always have had a voice and they always will. Maori mens voices are conspicuous for their silence (apparently it is only in the traditional powhiri that Maori men get to have a say), one only has to look in the yellow pages to see all the organisations established to support Maori women, where is the equivalent for Maori men I ask?
