Are men smarter than women?

I think the first thing you need to ask is what is the meaning of smart?

Smart means ‘intelligent’. Intelligent means ‘the power of reasoning and understanding objectively’.

I suppose some would know the answer to this instantly. But that would stop my article so I will continue on.

Who represents women these days and who represents men. Simple answer; feminists represent women and men are represented as themselves. I am starting to wonder whether women really are being discriminated against. I know we are. But it is not from men. It is from our selves. Our own sex.

Look at the facts of what is going on.

We have silly Sue. I hate to say it but silly is a kind word to describe her.

Here is a woman representing mother’s children. And a mother herself at that. A woman who had no chance of status except that she was a public image of women by showing her breast on TV while being dragged off by the police as a protester. And a communist.

Now she has had her day in Parliament by being used by the Labour Government to pass a bill Helen and her elite group of lesbian feminists wanted but could not get the honest way.

She has heard from mothers all over the country through protests and through lobbying and through petitions but she doesn’t want to listen to the women. She has her heels dug in to save face. Her ego is now on the line. The status she thinks is important. She wants to be an elite feminist.

And what about the feminists running the Human Rights Commission? Are they kind women who care for all people as a mother would? Not bloody likely.

While interviewing the high profile woman taking on the wage gap she told me that men have had rule for thousands of years and that she is pro women ruling everything.

What human rights is that. That is no human right. That is a man hate right.

Everything these women do is wrong.

Just look at the rights for transgenders. Now our own children have the right to choose their sex from school age. Truthfully, I couldn’t give a toss whether or not boys and girls use the same bathrooms or dressing rooms. But these rights are affecting the rights of religion.

Yeap, now one right is discriminating another right. Muslims don’t allow women to dress and undress or share private areas with men they don’t know.

So what now? We need one set of toilets and changing rooms for Muslims. Is this bringing together people or is this dividing people.

And then women have entered the work force. Fine. Great. But oh no, we have a problem. There is not as many women in top positions as men. There is a glass ceiling all in the name of production. So now quotas are in place to give women 50% of the roles of men. But they don’t want it.

So a few women are on many boards and companies are offering the world to get women in high positions. So let’s dumb it down for young women. They don’t have children yet. And when they do we will let them breastfeed and have childcare at their finger tips on the job. What for? Why are we dong this?

Well, it isn’t me doing this. They don’t speak for me. What I want is to know my children. To watch them grow. To be a part of their lives.

But oh no. I can’t have that because we have to put our children in daycare and after school care. And the reason we have to do this is because we can’t be reliant on men.

Let me tell you what is happening in my neighbourhood because women are oppressed to men.

The neighbour on my right caught the bus yesterday morning to hospital so to deliver her 5th child. She caught the bus home the same day after delivery so to look after the other 4 young ones under 5. She did the same with the 4th child.

My neighbour next to her has to leave her housing corp home to live with her mother who is old. And at the same time she has to raise her last child and work full time.

The female neighbour down the back has lung cancer. Her youngest started high school after being expelled from primary school and Intermediate school. She slammed the door in CYFS face when they had to intervene because of the school situation. And CYFS can’t care. Even the foster parents are not good enough for silly Sue’s wants.

And then you get a mother like me alone doing her very best to juggle work, family and study to fit into society as a woman in today’s standards.

So I do everything right to have my youngest son at Unitec for a Builders apprenticeship. I go to the seminars, enrolments and fill in all the forms on time, have a son who jumped the right hoops in High School only to be told we are not accepted because we are on a waiting list because we are mainstream. Yeap, we are white.

We were guaranteed a placement but as time went by the females were first for positions, then the Maori, then the Pacific Islanders, then overseas students, then the disability students and so forth. 120 positions and we ended on a waiting list of 31 students at no. 31. They tried to tell us we must had done something wrong. But we were the only one on the waiting list that had all paperwork filled out correctly.

So I ask again. Are women smarter than men? Are women intelligent?

Intelligent means ‘the power of reasoning and understanding objectively’.

  1. BTW, my son is in. I have fought as usual. But I shouldn’t have to. I shouldn’t have to make an appointment with John Tamihere to fight for my son as a Maori.l I shouldn’t have to question Unitec as to lying to the public. I shouldn’t have to to jump further hoops than others because of the colour of my skin.

I shouldn’t have to be onto the discriminative behaviour of Government. I should be allowed to live as a person in fair world.

I am tired of fighting the system. And I am angry that the system promotes dishonesty. I want to be honest.

  3. Thanx smart man for your comment.

America is a big place and we are a little place. You would think that we would have it all because leaders would be in tune with the people.

But we are so fucked up. We are such a mess. And no-one listens. What have we done?

Why are women and men competing? Why as adults do we show such pathetic behaviour?

  4. Hi Julie
What do you mean by smart?
Some men and women are clever enough to be university lecturers. Some men and women are clever enough to create a beautiful garden.
Some may have the scientific brain of Einstein, others can turn a run down hovel into a show place.
Some are clever enough to control a nation, others are clever enough to produce a fantastic painting.
In all walks of life each one of us have hidden talents.
Each one of us is clever.

  5. Rosie, I showed the meaning of smart in my post. To be smart is to be intelligent. University lecturers are not Intelligent just becuase they are lecturers.

A teacher now a days is like a builder in Australia. You have someone who puts the walls up, someone who puts the roof up and so forth. They are not intelligent but just people who are experts in one field. One tracked.

I hope you know that many truck drivers are more intelligent than most scholars.

  6. Actually Rosie, I should explain a bit more as to what I am saying. I don’t want for you to take this personally.

What I am questioning is women’s intelligence. The reason I am questioning this is because women are letting man hating feminists run the show. They are the ones making your partner pay CS too. They consider all men deadbeats. They consider all men rapists and women and children bashers.

It is not you who they are targeting. It is you partner and if you have sons then it is them too.

I try to say that this does not affect all feminists. I try to love as many sisters as I can. But what we as even the slightest feminists are doing is backing the radical feminists.

These are our leaders. They are the ones speaking on our behalf. And all of us females.

There was a time that the Catholic Church had a say in politics. They used the number of children and adults and babies baptised as the number of people they represented.

Adolf Hitler said he represented all Germans. Radical feminists say they are representing all women.

I am standing up and saying that they do not represent me. They are sick in the head. Just like Adolf Hitler was in my mind.

  7. Hi Julie
My son is married to a woman who is not only beautiful but she is smart.
When she questioned the reason for why the child support act did not make her son’s father pay child support for him,my answer to her was that it would be best to leave well alone.
And that if she was to proceed in looking for an answer, she may well find that she and my son would end up having to support her son’s father for the next 13 years.
They would just be paying for his drug habit.
And the IRD would order them to do that.

  9. Hi Rosie,

I am not sure I understand what you have written.

Are you saying that your son has a wife who has a son to another man? Meaning your son is a step father? And that you think she is smart because she is keeping the natural father out of her sons life?

    Comment by julie — Sun 24th February 2008 @ 9:35 am

  10. Did I say that my daughter in law was keeping her son’s natural father out of his life?
Even though her ex husband does not pay one cent in child support, her son still stays with his father every weekend. If she was to go to IRD for CS, her ex after he gets to know how the system works, may decide that he wants shared care. He doesn’t work so my son and his wife would end up supporting him.
I hope I have made myself clearer.
I don’t know if women are smarter than men but what I do know is that they are alot more devious.
    Would you not agree?

    Comment by rosie — Sun 24th February 2008 @ 6:05 pm

  11. In case you’re thinking that my daughter in law is an irresponsible parent for letting her son stay with his father who has a drug habit.Rest assured,he is well looked after by his grand parents.

  12. Hi Rosie,

In case you’re thinking that my daughter in law is an irresponsible parent for letting her son stay with his father who has a drug habit.Rest assured,he is well looked after by his grand parents.

I would never think that. I don’t see Grandparents raising Grandchildren being against the parents seeing their children even though many have problems.

Plus I know people still with addictions and I have been there too. It doesn’t make you less of a person just an ill person.

I don’t know if women are smarter than men but what I do know is that they are alot more devious.

Hehehe. Yes, I do agree with this.

I do know that woman are intelligent. And clever at things as you had explained earlier. But I think we are not being intelligent to let the radical feminists have their way. And I am not too keen on social science either or anything that takes away our freedom. We are not getting all the facts to make a sound, smart, intelligent opinion.

  13. Hi Julie
I guess you and me will have to agree that we disagree with each other.
My son is Maori but that didn’t prevent him from going to university and paying his own way.He got no help or privileges because he is Maori. He worked in orchards picking fruit to get the money to achieve his aim.
He wasn’t prepared to sit back in a queue and complain that he was hard done by.

I am lost as to how you are reading what I have written.

First off. I am not upset with what the Maori are doing. I think personally that they do a lot for the people and for students. And here in West Auckland they are mainstream. They are not pro one group over another. They help all groups.

I don’t know if you remember a post I did on John Tamihere. I am a big fan of his. Now he will tell your son, my son and everyone else’s son to get off their backside and work for what they want.

    Secondly,

I shouldn’t have to make an appointment with John Tamihere to fight for my son as a Maori.l I shouldn’t have to question Unitec as to lying to the public. I shouldn’t have to to jump further hoops than others because of the colour of my skin.

I am tired of fighting the system. And I am angry that the system promotes dishonesty. I want to be honest.

What does that say to you? How do you and I disagree on this?

Do you read what I am saying as I SHOULD have to play the Maori card?

I am not saying that. I am saying that everything was done right. We were up there at around the 40th person to sign up. But somehow we ended up on a waiting list. And what is fair is irrelevant. What is funded for is. What color you are is preferential. What gender you are is preferential.

  17. when is it child abuse, when the mother takes the child away, or stops access to the father, or maybe cyps will step in when the moc makes the child go to the police to write statements against the father and his partner,,even though the child age 14 years has told the judge he wants holidays with his father in his father’s home the lawyer for child and mother still say no,,at what age does a child have rights, and the police,,they questioned the child, it was not a statement but a lot of question answering, questions the mother wanted to ask,,oh and by the way,, the policeman who did it, is the hubby of the mothers boss,,as no other policeman would take this statement

  18. lol to the smart definition, Pat Norton. Just the one we need to work on.
But it seems that these quotas of students come from a Government level and that there are a number of other trusts within the Unitec.

You don’t just sign up for courses any more. You have to sell yourslef and have some group if you can back you.

I suppose these are the good things that groups in the community are tyring to work as a team to understand and offer the community.

Oh well, better to learn these things.
