Father’s Support Groups

Often groups are asked by fathers if there are father’s supports groups they can be referred to. I thought I would make a list of what is available online and offline and will add as I find more.

I needed to find one myself for the Nelson area and came across DIY’s list and have added a few more. If you can add any groups preferably in New Zealand that will be well appreciated.

  2. Alistair, you are so kind to me. I like it a lot but feel I don’t really deserve so much gratitude. Not yet, anyways. 😀

Thanks too for the info. What about the group in your area? How is that going?

  7. Tere; firstly, sorry to hear of your affairs.
Secondly, get your act together right from the start!
You say you have your children basically 50%nights; Keep a good strong record of their time in your care. Keep a journal. Note every date. Verify every visit, to your ex, via email. Form a paper trail. You will need it when IRD come knocking.
Get your record keeping together NOW!
If in the future you end up in the clutches of IRD (child support reviews) or Family Court, as you try to wrestle fairness and equity from the clutches of femidom, you’re thank me.
