Hunger striker set up by ex wife.

Martens, a pilot, is currently being held in the Lotus Glen jail in north Queensland, serving his sentence for having sex with a 14-year-old girl.  He has gone on hunger strike.

The girl’s aunt Dianne Tapari has told AAP her niece made up the allegations against Martens as part of a conspiracy initiated by Martens’ former wife.

A second charge of child sex tourism against Martens was dismissed by the Cairns Supreme Court last year after a witness admitted the allegations were false.

Mr Debus last year rejected Martens’ pardon application, despite evidence uncovered by his family which they say proves he was 1,000km away from the alleged victim at the time of the offence.

  1. Sex offences deserve to be treated as serious. However, feminist law has seen sex offences and now also those under dangerous censorship legislation, as worse than serious physical assault, many manslaughters or even murder. The fact that many rapes and other sex offences do not involve violence but are largely technical (e.g. victim’s co-operation evident but her consent or ability to give informed consent unclear) makes little difference to the way such offences are treated as worse than, for example, violence that deliberately caused permanent brain damage. The law now gives godly status to women, seeing any violation of their wishes as the worst crime possible, much as any offence caused to the king or the pope used to be treated.

Also, evidential requirements to obtain convictions have been steadily reduced to the point that a hollow allegation in the absence of any other evidence is allowed to result in conviction. The feminists and those politicians who have bought into feminism don’t seem to care at all about the outcome of these changes, that many innocent men are being wrongfully convicted of sex offences. Those men are seen as collateral damage in the feminist mission for retribution. The new motto is “it’s better that 100 innocent men are wrongfully punished than 1 guilty man walks free”.

That’s the story behind this case.
