Alien
The Alien series with Sigourney Weaver are well known science fiction movies.
I have never thought of them with a feminist/anti-feminist twist before, and I have no idea why this suddenly occurs to me now.
Weaver portrays the futuristic ultimate feminist independent amazon warrior and if you’ve seen the movies falls in love, so to speak with the Alien.
If you look at the Alien’s behaviour, destroying anything around it in order to provide a safe ‘nurturing zone’ regardless of the consequences, you could view the Alien as a portrayal of the ultimate feminist – the superfeminist of the universe – based on an extended view of our own extreme feminist.
I’m left wondering if that is simply coincidence or whether the script writer was thinking along these lines?
But then, I’ve always wondered about that part of the movie – the relationship between the Alien and this human female, and the captivating fascination the Alien had to the mind of a ‘human female’.
I do see your points. I really like the movie.
In the end, I had “seek help”.

This women played the part perfectly.

Definitely a predator.

DJ Ward @2: In this fraudster story note that the offender is repeatedly referred to as ‘mother of four’. Very rare for any male offender’s parenting status or responsibilities to be mentioned.
The implication was that she was a sole parent and there was reference to her working 7 days per week to support the children, but as usual no mention of the so-called ‘child support’ she will have been extorting from the children’s father(s) or the other contributions those fathers were making. And as usual there was no mention of why she chose not to maintain an intact family unit with the father or any of the fathers.
This fraudster continued her manipulative acting performances by sobbing in the dock and pleading with the judge. The minimal parole period means she will probably be released after 18 months, which for $2 million is actually a pretty good salary at $1.33 million per year or $25,000 per week. One can predict that she’ll be at it again soon after her release and even during her imprisonment.

As for trying to understand the human mind.
Try working this one out.
What was the motive?
Will she be prosecuted for wasting police time?
I think if aliens are watching us they would go.
WTF
Let’s go.
They need another million years of evolution.

She was charged but the punishment is light.
“On Wednesday, the teen was charged with making a false report to a peace officer, a class B misdemeanour. The crime carries a penalty of up to 180 days in jail and a fine of up to US$2000.”
This however might hurt.
“Chief Burch said the department “will also seek restitution for the significant costs for conducting such a major investigation”.”

Also.
“Police say they still have no idea what motivated Talbott to invent such a hideous story but it has since emerged she was reported missing in 2014, sparking a huge manhunt before reappearing safe and sound two days later.”
So her actions show an addiction of some kind.
Attention seeking?
Or just a way to participate in Women’s Day.
The racism gets a mention.
Not males.
“(The) hoax was also insulting to our community and especially offensive to the African-American community due to her description of the so-called suspects in her hoax. The anger and hurts (sic) caused from such a hoax are difficult and all so unnecessary.”
