Prostate Cancer Saliva Test
I’m seeing the odd news flash on this but nothing substantial.
It appears to be only in the trial stage but hey, having a spit in a jar has got to be less stressful than the fear of a hand on each shoulder … let’s pray for sucess on this one.
Jokes aside, if you see any developments on this thread, help keep us up to date in the comments.
A hand on each shoulder???
I think you should be considering making a complaint to the Medical Council to about your doctor.
His DRE (Digital Rectal Examination) technique is unorthodox to say the least.

Out in the workforce there are a few Dr jokes you may not be familiar with, John.
As such,
We’re ok with the DRE as long as we don’t feel a hand on each shoulder.
Would you mind taking my blood pressure after and not before.
But just to clear up any misconceptions, I wasn’t sharing any untoward personal experiences.

Thanks.
It’s looking to identify risk by genetic probability.
While at the same time PSA blood test (from my understanding) is being found more unreliable as more causes of it’s presence are found.
