Psychologists Board

I recently went through the process of making an official complaint to the Psychologists Board regarding the conduct of one of their psychologists. Of course they decided not to reprimand the psychologist but it was pleasing to see how much time the psychologist had to waste addressing the complaint. So on that basis I would highly recommend that people do it. I’ve also heard that psychologists very much dislike being complained about. So another good reason to do it.

On another point. Does anybody know the percentage of cases where the FC awards 50:50 shared care against the wishes of the mother?

  1. Last published statistic is 11% sharing of care and 6% father majority custody but that goes back to Judge Boshier days.

There are so many psych board complaints that most will not do FC reports and that makes it hard to get cases heard. I do not support complaints for the sake of complaining. The FC have also made that much more difficult and the board will now only consider complaints in “closed” cases.

  2. The first one I had go to, I couldn’t figure out what the hell he was on about until after a few sessions, I found out ‘the children’s mother’ had walked in to his office with the children, told him to ‘get fucked’ and walked out. I’m sitting there wasting my time with this idiot who spent most of the first session introducing me to his qualifications and expertise.

The second got a degree of cooperation because it came to a court case, but withdrew after (mother) screamed the courthouse down as she no longer had a trusted relationship with one party.

And in the end the last one decided we should both be in the same room together. Last I saw of him, he was hiding in the wallpaper when she started chasing him around the room. I got up and walked out at that stage.

When it comes down to it they’re no more use than tits on a bull.

  3. That’s about the size of whole problem.

Men are expected to be responsible for their behaviour and when women don’t have to be, these idiots can’t even do a professional job let alone cope with their ‘regular lapses of memory’ during the course of the entertainment.
