Men’s Summit Goes South

The New Zealand Men’s Summit 2019 is going south this year to Otago University Rugby clubrooms in Dunedin on Friday 12 April.

It’s time to recognise the male contribution to society as Men Matter Too.

Following successful Men’s Summits in Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland, the move to Dunedin is a great opportunity to broaden your men’s network and spend time in the deep South.

Whether you crash on a mate’s couch, in a cabin, or at a motel, the organizers urge you to get a cheap flight or make the road trip to connect to a varied and informative program. Later in the day there is opportunity for your input to help redress the pressures males find themselves under.

Many women support men in the drive to real gender equality. They also see governmental neglect and judicial abuse that has delivered high male suicide and defathered families as a serious threat to the wellbeing of their sons, grandsons, brothers and uncles. Intelligent observers are aware of the disengagement of males from society. Not good news for females either.

If you are in Dunedin on Thursday prior, there is a meet and greet at the University Rugby Clubrooms from 5.00pm. Refreshments will be available. Casual lunch and tea is included in the cost for Friday. Socialising and entertainment follows a stimulating day.

See the program and rego to be setup by the end of the month on websites for Men’s Summit, Menz Issues and Families 4 Justice or txt your email address to co-ordinators to get your info.

Send this release and program and rego on to friends, media websites and other interested parties.
See you in Dunedin!

  1. The same question will be on the minds of some viewers; will there be a live stream viewing?

    Or even delayed coverage?

We’ve had the opportunity to watch events in other countries and one would assume they are perhaps slightly interested in what’s happening here.

  2. Question from the agenda last year.

    3:45 NZ MRA Party Launch

What was the outcome of this and is it being followed up this year?

  3. The idea of the Men’s Summit going South is also probably not the best choice of words.

“Deteriorate or decline, as in The stock market is headed south again . This expression is generally thought to allude to compasses and two-dimensional maps where north is up and south is down. However, among some Native Americans, the term was a euphemism for dying, and possibly this sense led to the present usage.”

The land of the Southern man is possibly a little more colloquial?

  4. Men protecting themselves from female violence.
That could be a good topic.

A disgruntled woman threw nutmeg in her ex-boyfriend’s face and punched him repeatedly following their break-up, the Dunedin District Court has heard.
An angry woman threw nutmeg in the eyes of her former lover, then swung a golf club at another man she mistook for her ex.

The 26-year-old woman, who was granted interim name suppression, appeared before Judge Michael Crosbie in the Dunedin District Court on Tuesday morning.

The woman’s relationship with the victim ended in early February, several days before her actions resulted in her being charged with assault and assault with a weapon.

The woman, who was living in Queenstown at the time, went to the property of her former lover about 11pm on February 7, the police summary of facts said.

She was angry the man had broken up with her and visited his caravan while he was sleeping.

She began punching him in the face, then threw nutmeg in his face.

He tried to stop her as she gouged his hands and punched him repeatedly.

The incident continued outside as the man fled to a friend for safety.

The woman picked up a golf club and warned him to “man up”, but mistook another man who had heard the drama unfolding for her ex-boyfriend.

“Are you scared, you coward,” she asked the other man.

He raised his arm to protect his head as the woman swung the golf club at him.

Her ex-boyfriend stayed in a sleep-out as she banged on the walls and told him to come out.

Both men suffered bruising and swelling from the assault.

Police said the accused was co-operative. She had not previously appeared in court and was remanded on bail to appear again next month for sentencing.

The woman’s counsel, Anne Stevens QC, indicated she would apply for a discharge without conviction.

A little of my speech at the “A Tribute To Men” rally in DC. We need strong men not soy boys.

More information should be available online – can’t see that being reported in our media.

  7. NZ Attack targeted men, religious mainly men , straight men (given the fact that almost all men who go to mosques are not gays) and the attack demonize the Christian religious men (who did not actually execute this attack and who are also against feminists and gays). Exactly like when they use ISIS to demonize religious Muslims.
The NZ prime minister is described in Wikipedia as one who left church because it is against gays.she is also described as feminist, left wing. The terrorist did not attack gays, nor feminists, nor animal right activists, nor bankers, he left all those and went directly to Muslims, he never had girlfriends, he worked in gym, very probable he is himself gay, he chose Pi day in America time zone to make the attack, started it at 13:40 NZ time, another Pi, same like Norweigian mason who killed children in Norway in 22/7 date, another Pi, this is called, satanism, and from where he got the funding of this operation? don’t tell me cryptocurrency, traders, don’t care about ideology they don’t even have time to got to toilet. they are addict as gamblers.

  8. Eagle @ 7 – he also chose the date of the Ides of March (15 March), the day when the assassination of Julius Caesar was a turning point that changed the Roman empire forever.

Looking at the countries he visited and at the people who told police about their concerns with him it is surprising he was unknown. He never worked while he lived here and traveled extensively. He told people his travel was funded by an inheritance but he told others he was able to fund it from bitcoin investments. When his father died, surely everything went not to him but to his mother who is still alive today?

Look at the mainstream media narrative in this tragic event. Blame “white supremacism,” people who voted for Trump (even though Tarrant himself says he is an eco-fascist and a communist) and anyone concerned about the way in which multiculturalism and globalism have deliberately changed the demographics of the West along with the cultural Marxist subversion of cultures in the UK and Europe.

In the similar case of Breivik, it appears that his primary motivation for mass murder was a warped radical Zionist worldview. His statements also fit in perfectly with Mainstream Media Narratives that people concerned about targeted demographic change aimed at the West and a brand of globalism designed to destroy the culture, history, and institutions of sovereign individual nation states, are all potential Tarrants ready to go off like ticking time bombs armed with weaponry and irrational hatred of all Muslims and people of color.

The disgraceful event in Christchurch happened just a couple of days after NZ repealed the blasphemy laws.

There was the recent warning where Israel told New Zealand that the UN resolution was a ‘declaration of war’. Hours before the vote Netanyahu called New Zealand’s foreign minister Murray McCully and warned him that it would be a “declaration of war” if he proceeded – see the Radio NZ story (shown further down in the comments)

  11. I noticed more media around the stale pale male.

Off the back of the Christchurch Mosque attack we see that leadership is apparently shown not to be exclusive to middle aged white men.

Another promotion of empathy in disguise.
