NZ Wellbeing Budget 2019

“Vote for us and you’ll get the money,” is what Jacinda said.

But of course, as she was talking to the girls, it comes as no surprise to see Robinson buying votes with a glossy front cover as pictured.

The year of delivery?

Let’s see how this works out for the boys.

Look forward to your critical analysis as information becomes available.

  2. This would have been a perfect opportunity to include Men, specifically, I wonder how many Mens, Groups’ were spoken to when creating this budget.

  3. @2 Budgets are generally formed by competitive ministries putting forward a case for their share of available funds.

Men’s Groups from what I’ve seen fall into discretionary funding from various agencies rather than being directly linked to the budget.

But even if the were consulted it would be interesting to know by which Ministry.

It would also be interesting given the recent medical statement quoted in the min4men post whether specific requests were rejected.

Should be some extra funds for counselling, do you think, Golfa?

We’re all gonna need counselling after this … wait I see where you’re going with this now, the hugs … we get consoling instead of counselling.

  5. Haven’t had a chance to follow up on the budget detail but go on, colour me surprised and tell me we had a whiff of the bottom of the pork barrel.

  6. Deadbeat Dads are the only ones getting a tax cut this year, according to the National Party.

  7. Hah! “Wellbeing budget”.

So one of the over-reaching gaggle of aged hall monitors and would be class-captains, finally came up with a way that no one can ever quantitify their collective incompetance.

… and they all jumped on the bandwagon – gee, what a shock.
