Thirty Years of Domestic Violence Half-Truths, Falsehoods, and Lies

Filed under: Domestic Violence — JohnPotter @ 3:49 pm Sat 9th October 2021

A new report by the Coalition to End Domestic Violence (CEDV) shows that men are not the most common perpetrators Domestic Violence but are targeted in service of feminist and socialistic agendas.

Thirty Years of Corrupting the Truth About Domestic Violence

“Mainstream anti-domestic violence” efforts aren’t grounded in science. They’re based in an ideological presupposition that violence results from “inequalities.” As the CEDV states, domestic violence is then “seen as arising solely from a power imbalance between the sexes, with men posited as the beneficiaries.” Such beliefs are exemplified by a quote from radical feminist Susan Schechter (included in the CEDV report): “Since male supremacy is the historical source of battering, and class domination perpetuates male privilege, a long-range plan to end abuse includes a total restructuring of society that is feminist, anti-racist, and socialist.”

  1. There is lots of good information in the article.
Exposing how DV is not a gender issue.
It was made a gender issue.
    For political reasons.

    ………….

Hundreds of studies have probed the extent of domestic violence. With remarkable consistency, research demonstrates the following:
    • Each year, men are more likely than women to be the victims of domestic violence
    o Males: 4.2 million victims
    o Females: 3.5 million victims
    • Each year, men are more likely than women to be victims of coercive control by their partners
    o Males: 17.3 million victims
    o Females: 12.7 million victims

Nationally, about 31.5% of women and 27.5% of men have experienced physical violence by an intimate partner during their lifetimes. Of these, about 22.3% of women and 14% of men have experienced severe physical violence.
About 47.1% of women and 46.5% of men have experienced psychological aggression by an intimate partner during their lifetimes.
The Department of Health and Human Services reports that women commit the majority — 53% — of all child abuse incidents. Regarding child homicides committed by a parent, 71% involved the mother, with the remaining 29% involved the father.

The gender profiling that arises from one-sided and false claims has been especially harmful to Black men. Each year, Black men are more likely than Black women to be victims of domestic violence, sexual violence, or stalking committed by a partner.
    • Black men: 1.47 million victims
    • Black women: 1.38 million victims
But even though Black men are more likely to be victims of partner abuse, inexplicably, Black men are also more likely to be arrested for domestic violence.

    ………….

It is good to see, a well researched argument.
Feminists want Coercive Control, to be a crime.
Far more a female version of DV, than a male version.
Obviously 100% of those charged will be male.
Also essentially the case for any DV, in NZ.

How then can the government explain its statistics.
    Rates of prosecution, for DV.
With males vastly more likely to be prosecuted.
    PSO statistics.
    Virtually 100% against the male.
    Protection order statistics.
    Female applications, nearly always accepted.
    Male applications, routinely rejected.
    And sex crimes.
There is no prosecutions of females, for anything.
Even actual rapes, as in FTP cases, ignored.

  2. Since the 1980s, scientific studies have shown that women are at least as likely as men to engage in domestic violence. This Special Report documents that the disinformation effort, which began in the early 1990s, has been systematic, well-organized, and widespread, with intentions that may be less-than-honorable. As a result, men are no longer regarded as the protectors of women; instead, men are now widely viewed as potential abusers and predators.

    And it’s still happening.
$45 million has been announced, to pervert the minds of children.
With an education campaign in schools.
The Minister for Sexual Violence, is in charge.

What then will they teach the boys.
What then will they teach the girls.

The boys taught they are abusers, and predators.
The girls taught they are victims.

The males not taught about female domestic violence.
The girls taught about male domestic violence.

The males not taught about female sex crimes.
The girls taught, everything men do, is a sex crime.

The males left dazed and confused.
The females, prepared, ready to persecute.

  3. There’s an industry to be protected here. Millions of dollars a year are made destroying the lives of men. Women normally become the primary care giver and the next few years are spent undoing the harm done by the mother as she uses the system to unpave the father’s relationship with the children. The truth is only known in the number of male suicides and how many men go on to have meaningful relationships with their children.

  4. Last time I saw a figure quoted it was a 3 billion dollar industry in New Zealand.

  5. #4 Absolutely crazy amounts of money. From MOJ data, I saw one Barrister earnt over $400K last year on legal aid alone.

  6. Taking you back to the heady days of UOF (Union of Fathers) so, pre 2004 the highest paid family court legal aid lawyer was pulling in 500k annually and the worst case custody dispute that had unnecessarily not resolved any contact with the children had cost the father 500k in lawyers fees.

    Just saying.

  7. Thanks John for linking these important documents. It’s really difficult to believe that false propaganda can stay in charge year after year in contempt of the truth.

While women commit a comparable number of violent acts overall to that by men in the context of intimate partnerships, it’s important to acknowledge that in both domestic situations and in society generally men commit a much higher proportion of the most serious violence than do women. Around 80% of intimate partner homicides are by men against women. Homicides generally in society, of whom men are mostly the victims, are committed mostly by men. In NZ men kill more children than do women though this may differ in other countries. Even allowing for a good degree of obfuscation, e.g. letting a female killer off on the grounds of fake self-defence, the comparisons still stand.

Having said that it’s important also to acknowledge that women are, albeit in lower proportions, every bit as violent and cruel as men can be. The tv documentary series ‘Snapped’ shows this clearly. It also shows that murderous women will often change their stories as evidence contradicts them, eventually ending up admitting the killing but claiming it was in self-defence for a history of violent and sexual abuse by the male. Usually there is no evidence of this prior, no medical history, no police call-outs, no evidence that family or friends ever saw any sign of the alleged abuse. But it can be successful for women dishonestly to take advantage of the male=bad and female=victim stereotypes established by feminists, because juries will sometimes let them off.

  8. They have a new plan, to eliminate something.
A realistic look at humans, shows that’s very unlikely.
A 25 year plan, on top of the near 40 years, of feminist governance.
New plans, on top of old plans.
New spending, on top of old spending.
    Growth inevitable.

    https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/politics/127202316/our-greatest-shame-eliminating-violence-will-take-a-generations-work

    $2 billion dollar, industry.
And all the spending has failed.

“Te Aorerekura acknowledges that the way we have been working to date has not brought peace and the ability for people to live free from violence,” said Davidson.

    This sounds very positive.

“Te Aorerekura frames family and sexual violence as the misuse of power by one person, to coerce, control, punish or get what they want at someone else’s expense.”

But the DV half truths, falsehoods and lies begin.

“While anyone could use violence, it said, gender inequities – such as the social acceptance of men’s dominance, entitlement, and physical and sexual aggression – meant that men were more likely to use violence than other groups.”

We then, get points of view.
From the Backbone Collective, Women’s Refuge then consulted.
    Followed by statistics.

“Women are three times as likely as men to experience intimate partner violence.”

The link in the post, says otherwise.
