  1. I bet in the end, she knows she tried as hard as anyone.
It’s good to see it recognised, in her award.
Many things she says, are relevant to this article.

    https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/300715109/victim-rejects-200-payment-from-man-who-escaped-conviction-for-her-indecent-assault

The article has good arguments, about light sentences.
So as an article, there’s nothing wrong with it.
But in propaganda, only one argument is made.
Stuff will not have an article, of sentences for things done to men.
Especially of sexual things, with real consequences.

It argues about culture, of the young male.
How society must change, to protect women.
It’s says nothing, of the culture of the young female.
How society must change, to protect men.

    ………….

To me an argument exists, around sentences.
Feminists have demanded, a severe punishment.
As convictions arbitrarily, harm the right to work.
So maybe the judge, was taking that into account.

Maybe the problem is flexibility, in sentences.
With right to work questions, a separate decision.
Few things help people more, than stable work and housing.
Is the ideal not, punishment and rehabilitation being the same thing.

  3. Bettina, what a gem. The current crazy situation will be turned around but this will require revolution.

  6. I like her for her arguments, using research and examples.
So even innocent subjects, can have gendered outcomes.
We just don’t see, the effects of society on boys.

    https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/politics/131318818/r16-or-ao-mps-question-about-naked-attraction-raises-a-point-on-media-regulation

    Geez, what a subject.
    Because media, is very sexualised.
The images boys see, simply mock censorship.
    Humans naturally, sexualise themselves.
Fan pages and underwear sellers, some becoming rich.
Dirty jokes, and superstars swinging on wrecking balls.
I watch my daughter nine, watching the music videos.
I’m pretty certain, she’s surprised at what she sees.
I caught my boy, looking at videos on you tube.
    Nothing bad, but definitely sexualised.

Society has to decide, the rights of the child.
Trying to make sexual development, as natural as possible.
Never before, has there been more pornography.
Pictures that are legal, but probably should not be.

So for both my children, I do worry for them.
Children without limits, searching on the internet.
In half a dozen clicks, they could see anything.

The internet, must be forced to comply.
The child, restricted to age appropriate things.
How then do you stop what’s seen, on the parents device.
The subject maybe mute, censorship no longer exists.
