The Emperor is not wearing clothes!!
There, I’ve said it…..ok, ok, ok, I realise I now risk appearing to be an idiot revealing an IQ of less than 100.
To be a journalist today one requires big big balls because to
declare the obvious is proffesional suicide. I refer to Chris Brown and his dilemma in obtaining a visa to perform in NZ. I don’t condone his assault on Rihhana but I also don’t condone the media’s assault on Brown. Every year dozens of visitors to this country obtain visas after having assaulted other men and serving less than a year in jail having being charged with GBH.
The ruling of not admitting criminals who reach the threshold of being undesirables due to their danger to the general public is not being implemented in this case. Chris presents no danger to the public and will visit here to entertain his fans. His lyrics contain no encouragement of DV. Only a bigot could not spot the transparent reason why he is being singled out.
If you haven’t the balls to declare that the Emperor has no clothes then you contribute to the demise of reason and the rise of ignorance and eventual tyranny and chaos.
I think the same applied to Freddy Fender.
I don’t recall him having any cannabis promoting songs, but he was banned on the basis of a cannabis conviction in his homeland.
But he did have a song about wasted days and wasted nights, which could have been considered … who knows …

I still think that he shouldn’t be allowed into NZ and it’s a good stand we should take, send that message to the rest of the world and also publisise how bad Domestic Violence is, as Mens Rights Members we should now be diligently searching for the first hypocritical situation of a women getting a visa under similar if not exact circumstances. Basically female criminals like drug takers and cliptomaniacs etc. (Not sure if spelt right) Wynona Rider springs to mind.

Good points triassic. It’s not only women with kleptomania or clitomania but also women who have committed violent offences, made serious false allegations against men or committed paternity fraud and men who have done violence to other men. That would include any US politician who voted for the Violence Against Women Act and other male-abusing laws. One day we will also imprison those NZ politicians who voted for male-abusing laws such as the travesty of justice that are our ‘protection orders’ (that don’t protect anyone but provide state-sponsored sectarian violence against men) and our Domestic Violence Act.

And check out this story slinging mud at Brown, giving ‘Five reasons NZ doesn’t need Chris Brown‘. The only one of these 5 reasons that seemed to have any sensible reasoning at all was the assault on Rihanna. The others were:
– he was the father of a daughter for whom he has joint custody
– somebody shot someone else at some club where Brown happened to be that night
– a female stalker broke into his house, spray painted her name on his cars, spray painted “I love you” on his walls, threw out his daughter’s clothing and dog’s stuff and put voodoo type objects around his bed which she then got into naked to be found when he came home. Brown tweeted what happened and said he hoped she would get help.
– A gossip website claims that police want to speak to Brown and/or his staff after a groupie claimed she was assaulted when made to leave the tour bus.
WTF? So this Herald reporter thinks it’s ok to blame and damn a man for these ridiculous things including that he was a victim of stalking! Is this country going insane? Misandry at its most mindless. Chris Brown should sue whoever wrote this and the NZ Herald for publishing it, for as much money as possible.

WOW!!! This is character assassination at its worse, could it be termed Cyber Bullying? The Herald is now tabloid gutter gossip. The judicial system in NZ is full of judges who, like the above mentioned journo, have a misandric streak. The chances of Brown winning a libel case must be rated as low. However, in saying that, he has enough money to put it to the test. Unfortunately, like most men I know, Brown would prefer to just get on with life, enjoy it, and not hop in the gutter with this mob.

#2….. I am unsure if I have posted this paper before but here it is again. It is on the subject of DV and is more appropriately titled ‘Intimate Partner Violence’ I am not critiquing your comment but pointing out that Chris Brown’s story has never been heard. What mitigating circumstances were put forward by Brown in order for him to escape jail time? The paper in the above link might give you a clearer idea what dynamics may have been in action within that relationship at the time.
In terms of judgment on bad behaviour and putting gender aside, how bad would Chris be if he had smashed a bottle over a crippled man’s head at a bar because he didn’t like the look of him? Would it then be a good idea to ban him from NZ? I would think so because the line he crossed is clear. Without any provocation he would have the potential to injure others. The fact the victim was a male cripple is outside the considerations.
Placing gender into the violence debate (in Western culture) is a BIG mistake because the real issue is bullying. Men are predominantly bigger and stronger and therefore to hit a woman is a cowardly thing to do and BY FAR THE MAJORITY OF MEN KNOW THIS. They are highly unlikely to brag about losing self control and beating their partner. Putting psychopaths aside, a man hitting his partner makes him feel worse than having it publicly known that his penis is 1″ long. This is because there is NOTHING MASCULINE IN THAT ACT. DV is an issue that is constantly conflated with feminist bull-shit so it is hard to conduct a conversation around it in order to deal with the issue and obtain a positive outcome.

The denigration of men continues.
This is an example of ‘we are perfect, but men are not’
Men must measure up to our standards, but we don’t have to have any standards.
Example
“People tell me to settle,” she said angrily. “Settle for what? Any man? Is this how society tells women to value themselves? To aim low? Why? Because being alone is a fate worse than being in a women’s shelter, bruised and battered?
MGTOW anyone?
You could just settle for being a sex toy? Then you can have the fun and none of the feminist power and control crap that these women impose on men, and lead to their being single in the first place.
http://www.stuff.co.nz/life-style/love-sex/72454240/single-and-40-why-you-shouldnt-settle
What should men expect from a women?
Honesty?
Loyalty?
Have a work ethic?
Never destroyed the life of former male partners?
What standards should she achieve to be good enough ‘not perfect’ for a man?
Good luck!
