Parents aiming for shared parenting will usually benefit from a better understanding of child development. I would suggest that all parents would benefit from a better understanding of this topic.
I have a USA Parent Skills Programme, of self paced learning available for loan. It is based primarily on negotiation and understanding and management of available incentives.
Although it does take determination to follow through, I support this system because it practically and directly faces the realities of somewhat reduced parental authority these days and it incidentally assists with spousal and/or familycaught$ negotiation. This latter may be a significant assistance for many parents. I don’t enjoy the accents, but the content is good.

one of the issues my x bought up in court to stop me having my kids was that i was a first time father and didnt know what i was doing..funny that she had been a first time mum at one stage too..and im still a better parent than that loser will ever be

My partners exs have banded together, and have told lawyers and court that my partner is violent. He is soooo far from that its ureal.This is so he cannot see his children. Can we do anything to get the courts to listen and those two have some sort of punishment for lying???

#..i wanted my x partners x to sign a letter on my behalf and i was told i couldnt do that as it was a totally different situation even though her bad behavior kept repeating itself and im picking the exe’s are female so no probably not

#3. nickstar – Sadly nothing you can do = this is the BEST PRACTICE of the family court and the FIRST thing EVERY dad must DEFEND before he even gets to to think about trying to get time with his kids – DEFEND himself against every possible ACCUSATION imaginable about his CHAracter and reputation – TRUTH does not come into it – the system is founded on allowing these LIES and UNTRUTHS, if there was a penalty for this, and unfounded accusations had consequences , this scum bag justice system would be out of work.
And remember the BIG picture everyone – this all rolls into child support – keep dads away from kids but force them to PAY, PAY PAY – make up unrealistic INCOME figures based on ” What he has the potential to EARN = this is the way INCOME is actually calculated” make it impossible to challenge or refute these rulings, and when he can not pay the amounts requested and when the penalties are so high as to exceed the actual debt, they will then look to take your assets and sell them off to pay, pay pay.
What a great little business these fleas have created for themselves to pay off debt – ramp up penalties, more penalties EQUALS the more they can borrow against what it owed – what a great business.
$2 BILLION Owed in CHILD SUPPORT – BUT $1.5 BILLION of that is PENALTIES against which they borrow money.
I have been told by my lawyers, that this is what this is all about – they have turned this into a very profitable business. And watch out ladies – they are lining you up as well to PAY PAY PAY – the game all parents can play. Using your kids are LEVERAGE. PAY PAY PAY, the PARENT GAME……….wankers Like everything in the how to Fk your family – court – its got nothing to do with the welfare of the KIDS……….

the govt will need all the money it can get to build more womens prisons so when they dont pay..off on holiday you go
