Jami-Lee Ross vs Feminist Violence
While we may be critical of Mr Ross’ disloyal attempts to sabotage his leader and party (and probably other individual parliamentarians in the near future!) and/or we may also see him to some extent as suffering abuse for brave whistle-blowing, we applaud the fact that he has not rolled over and accepted feminist mischief against him.
The gender issue in this saga has not been highlighted much in media, but it has probably been the main catalyst for recent developments as made clear in some news reports like this one. Ross may well have leaked information about Bridges’ electoral spending, though the standard of proof for this seems only marginally better than the total lack of proof routinely used by the Family Court to wreck the lives of men and their children. However, his full-on war now is in response to feminist violence.
Bridges attacked Ross with a claim that four women had independently complained about harassment, or inappropriate behaviour towards women, or behaviour unacceptable for a married man, or something equally vague and likely lacking real justification. According to Ross, when he demanded further information Bridges threatened to find 15 women to complain similarly. Well, that would be easy against any man in the world in today’s toxic feminist climate.
There is an increasingly nasty war being waged against men. In true #metoo spirit, women now are prone to level accusations of sexism and/or harassment at any man who displeases them in any way. A good example was Serena Williams who in a fit of anger at being properly called out and penalized for cheating, ridiculously claimed the male umpire was being sexist towards her. Many men have colluded with the feminist terrorists, some of those men being misguided and others, like Bridges, self-serving and unethical.
Ross was having none of this nonsense and he is now taking revenge. We often feel disgusted when men roll over after allegations of breaching feminist political correctness, apologizing for all manner of unintentional and trivial wrongdoing according to feminist decree. Instead, we would like to see many more thoroughly violent responses from men when feminist violence is done to them. Not physical violence of course, but the kind of commensurate violence that Jami-Lee Ross is currently demonstrating. Whether he comes out more or less wounded than this enemies, we wish him well in battle.

This article shows how convenient is the ill-defined concept of harassment. Use the word and what people think is pressuring for sex. Ms Bungard used the word and the article saw fit to state:
However, the allegations made by Ms Bungard didn’t involve anything reasonably seen as harassment and certainly not sexual harassment. The innuendo appears to be a cheap feminist shot relying on misrepresentation.
Ms Bungard put herself forward as a political candidate, then complained about being pressured to vote for Ross’ preferred candidate on a local community board. Did Bungard imagine that politics was a nice, polite game of cutting ribbons and being invited to dinners? Didn’t she know that party politics often involves lobbying, pressuring, favouring and punishing? If so, then how naive and foolish to get involved in politics. What Ms Bungard really appears to want is special treatment, shielded from real political activity on account of being a woman.
Ms Bungard said that Ross had never done anything “really solid”, i.e. against the law or party rules that he could be held accountable for. Well in that case, she had the right to express unhappiness about his behaviour but she needs to grow up and respect people’s freedoms to operate within the rules. Feminists have long invented and attempted to impose layer after layer of new, vague, informal rules based on their shallow preference without careful thought or due process.
Ross has now confirmed the allegation that he had extramarital affairs, he says with two women. This had also been portrayed as some kind of harassment by him against those women; it’s typical of feminists and the #metoo mentality to see men as totally responsible for anything women participate in or even initiate. And it’s typical for feminist knives to come out when a need is perceived to damage some man for whatever reason.
It’s sad that Ross has now started apologizing for ‘hurt caused’ to those poor fragile flowers who have been sticking knives in his back. That may seem politically strategic but it’s abandoning principles and tends to backfire as an invitation for more feminist dogs to go in for the kill.
Nevertheless, Ross has indicated that since his two affairs have been made public by his opponents thereby breaching a customary boundary around NZ politicians’ private lives, his gloves are now off. That may be of interest to those who like scandals and will be no more than his opponents deserve for misusing the ‘harassment’ word, trying to use male-shaming and other feminist treachery against him.

In fact, it was the women who ratted on him, as is usually the case with affairs. Not only rat on the man but blame the man for everything women voluntarily participated in or initiated. Feminists claim to want women to be treated as competent adults then demand they are treated as helpless children who should never be held responsible for their decisions or behaviour.

No, quite right Evan but how do you see things?
Many people act out of anger or fear rather than the best judgment when under threat and attack. Their actions may not be self-preserving but damage to the attackers may be deserved. However, we’re not sure that Ross wasn’t acting sensibly by disclosing the donation events. He may have understood that he was going to be blamed for it regardless so he may as well try to gain the first momentum.
Ad hominem allegations that a man’s opinion or actions arose because he is unsound of mind is of course a common form of feminist argument.
It’s possible, though seems unlikely, that Ross has an effective battle plan and enough ammunition to come out on top. Yet in battle tactics need to be invented and changed according to developments. He has now decided to stay on as an MP, quite a clever tactic that entices the Nats to utilize the waka-jumping legislation that they opposed on such high principle, which if they do will show them to lack integrity.

I haven’t watched this saga very carefully, so I apologise if I got the wrong end of the stick.
One of the ladies complained that Jamie Lee Ross was seducing her, to get access to information through her. In a sense, that negotiation lever would have given her more power, unless she was totally powerless. It perhaps even introduced an element of Jamie Lee Ross as a sex worker?
I didn’t pick up whether she was a staffer or an MP, so I guess that makes a big difference to the power dynamic?
There is a UK TV series called The Thick of It and it included a somewhat similar story line.

The lady worked for the other party and didn’t like the fact that she was being pursued for information, not for herself. She resented it strongly, but she still got into bed and didn’t supply the information. So she took full advantage of the situation presented to her.
I apologise Jamie, if I am making it look as though you might lack originality, but the series stopped in 2012. I generally preferred Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister. I guess I am looking old and staid.
When the condoms have settled, everyone should have a better understanding of “conflict of interest”.
Interestingly, this is also a major issue in managing illegal and legal drug industries in NZ.
“Conflict of Interest” appears to the the wildcard, where some retired MPs get superannuation a hundred times better than most of their MP colleagues.

Interesting Murray. So Ross did what’s usually done by sexy female spies, used his body and sexual favours to get information! I wouldn’t have thought he had the 007 kind of appeal, but it’s surprising how much women are attracted to the appearance of power and confidence. And connection to people who make large donations.

How does that representitive face their constituency if they have one.

Reflecting on Jamie-Lee Ross from an impartial men’s view may be frustrated by any moment in the media with both sides trying to roll the ball their way.
The media is on one hand defending it’s engagement with politicians and trying to process it’s own narrative at the same time.
Who knows which way it’s going to swing and when.
For one, this is not the heart of politics; it’s not about government being in touch with and building community.
The confrontation of the male and female tribes is front and centre and we are the audience.
Another aspect we shouldn’t overlook is the tender age at which the boy entered politics. He like Jacinda has known nothing else, although their political behaviours may reflect gender as much as the potential failings of dragging our youth into the war game.
What we do know is that any answer will lay in the twisted outcome of a select group of politicians and media defending their teritory.
We should be able to rely to a reasonable degree and more so the media to find solid ground for the community to walk on but in this case that’s not going to be a process but a postmortem.
When we get down to killing the message and the messenger our difference is that we are no less brutal but better at hiding the bodies, even if they do wander around taking their time to die.

Oh wow, and now they have imprisoned Ross under the Mental Health Act! His presentation during interviews this week was clearly not thought disordered. Possibly, under stress he may have been sleeping poorly and his behaviour may have changed rapidly over the last day or two. However, we would be surprised if justification can be found for incarcerating him for longer than an assessment.
Powerful political forces may have been behind this, in which case it’s in line with, although somewhat less extreme than, the way Russia and Saudi Arabian powers have been dealing with political threats.
Be strong Mr Ross, don’t let them muzzle you.

Only thing of interest so far gathered is it’s a whore house with MP shag other MPs.
But for a certain married P. Bennett to lift another married man’s bonnet and rev his engine is perfectly tolerable for as long as they are in the same party.

Dear JustDubious, it is meant to be the Government that uses distractions, during the final debates on acts. The National Party is meant to be the opposition, they certainly aren’t the Government. I am not sure if they understand that? As Jacinda said to them, unkindly and with a laugh, “that’s why you are in those seats and we are in these!”.
It really does leave the impression that National want to stay in the opposition role for a long time. They may find that even their opposition role downsizes itself, the way that they are behaving.
Important issue for us – focus on what is most important for us to do.
Prioritising our own actions and building our own teamwork.
Certainly learn what can be learned from what is presently going on, enjoy its entertainment value and keep our important activities moving forward.

How many men have been driven to mental ill-health under the weight of feminist violence in a society that condones it?
The danger now is that Ross will be discharged from hospital on strong medication disabling his clear thinking and assertive defence. Incredible stuff, having agents of the state arrest an inconvenient politician and place him under the control of people who can forcibly inject him with drugs and hold him down for electric shock treatment.
It’s important to remember that National is in opposition mainly or entirely because one or more of its (probably female) ministers was involved in leaking Winston Peters’ superannuation over-payment to the press. It’s interesting that other leaks to the press and associated feminist violence have now again wounded National.

We’ve had some guys representing themselves detained for a few days for psychiatric reports.
The most disturbing case I am aware of was an UOF member who left the group and started charging for legal advice and representation.
His client walked into the Family Court and was jailed for three months without trail.
These, like many other situations, go unreported, then suddenly we have an MP locked up.

In the same vein, I recall after the Kirsk sinking, a middle aged lady dropped to the floor halfway through asking a question regarding the safety of her sailor son. He may have been a Hero OTSU, but the soviets would not allow the Norwegians to provide a small rescue submarine. The Norwegians had one handy, for rescue work in their offshore oil drilling fleet. The lady was concerned for her son.
Baden Powell said that a scout should be prepared ie well equipped.
Although the russian nuclear submarine fleet was probably worth several times the value of the Norwegian offshore drilling diving fleet, they hadn’t ordered a rescue minisubmarine for their sailors. That is what being a Hero is all about?
The lady had a sudden loss of consciousness, because she was injected with some drug, by security men who were luckily handy and surprisingly well equipped.
With american fiends like that, who needs enemies?
So it is really good that we are well prepared for information release emergencies?????????

Interesting question also is how was this news released of Ross being detained under the Mental Health Act? Such matters are meant to be covered by privacy law. Will Bridges organize an investigation of this leak?

Perhaps a better comparison would be the Family Court Judge who didn’t excuse herself from cases while she was having domestic problems herself and had a meltdown on the bench. That didn’t become public until the judicial proceedings complaint had been finished.

I’m not familiar with parliamentary procedure but was this just a short cut to avoid a committee hearing in Parliament as well as a face saver allowing them to get out of the next easiest way which would be the Waka jumping legislation they just voted against.

I suggest that it is important to keep a lid on conspiracy theories. The chances of a doctor certifying that Jamie-Lee Ross in mentally unstable at the behest of governmental or party political forces is highly unlikely in NZ.
There is no doubt that intense stress can induce mental health issues – and most on this site can probably attest to that. What muddies the waters with Jamie-Lee Ross is that there has been both a political and a feminist attack on him. To what extent each of those played out in his current mental health issues is beyond the capacity of any arm-chair observer to discern.

But people in power are never hindered, held back or limited by the sweet words and beatitudes in legislation. Just opium for the masses.

I have alternating images of JLR thrashing around high up on a wall in a straightjacket, Paula Bennett trying to rescue him for her own private enjoyment with him fighting back and JLR lying peacefully on a bed in an induced coma awaiting special National Party ECT. This is not a nightmare, it is quite good.
