The Death of Feminism
Feminism does not like being confronted by facts or reality. Objectivity and truth, without debating the specifics are the realm of progress and unfortunately justice when things don’t go quite right … we’re not perfect.
Recently however there’s been a bit of chaos around the place.
This mish-mash of Intersectional Feminism and Identity Politics has caused confusion amongst their ranks. They’re arguing over the ideological meaning of their own ism. This is good, as a great number of women from different perspectives are shaking their heads and objecting to the profound stupidity. I don’t know about you, but I was more than a little amused by the idea of becoming competent in this stupity in order to defeat it.
I’m not surprised that idea didn’t float too far, and a little relieved at the same time, that those who supported it have gone quiet.
At the same time our friends over at Spiked were busy creating a feminist identity to assist this self defeating enterprise. Their writer has unveiled himself today. We could have been arguing with ourselves if we had succeeded in becoming proficient at this.
The confusion running through international social media has trickled down to MSM who have been trying to keep pace with this and has left them short of script. They’ve gone quiet.
That’s amusing but there’s a serious side to this in the management meltdown of the power structure of Feminism. They’ve suddenly lost forward momentum. People are asking do I really want to be part of that? The flow-on has been for the stalwarts to retrench and drag their relics out of the closet.
While they’re busy back-patting and celebrating ‘their glory days’ the lack of social management is unnerving to say the least.
I think it’s important to not only recognise this but be decisive in filing that void, providing leadership, direction, and a touch of reality to give some direction to those who find themselves left with a disturbing uncertainty.
It’s a long way from dead, sadly.
Feminism is still the ruling ideology.
For but one of many examples: “Male assaults Female” is still a law in New Zealand when it should be illegal to have such a law under New Zealand’s own Human Rights Act and ratified international agreements.
Personally I think continuing exposure of the hypocrisy and pernicious nature of feminism is the way forward but I realise others might be looking for a more constructive approach. Good luck.

The shit is still out there; look at the recent attempts to glorify Annette King. That’s the ruling ideology in disarray.
Some people might see a constructive approach as a means to disarm it, sorry I haven’t got that much head space let alone the desire to waste it.
I think Triassic is inline with the current trend of identity politics and empathy. This is the current buzz and it’s got feminists confused because this is the message that came from the voting campaigners in the 1800s.
It’s the current political buzzword that people will cling to and repeat if they don’t understand it and it has an acceptable utopian outcome attached to it.
Very disturbing to see the same ideology dished out yesterday as a reason to reject the opinion of the stale-pale-male.

Feminism will not die as long as there are a ton of brainwashed mangina’s supporting it. Best thing for men in western nations (and Australia/N Zealand) is to boycott marriage and co habitation. Isn’t it funny that when a women wants to remain single, she is considered a strong independent girl who can take care of herself (go feminism!). But when a man want to remain single, he is considered incomplete, or he hasn’t “manned up”. More man should remain single. Work hard, get your degrees, be financially independent, stay away from crime, take good care of yourself, join (man’s) clubs, be an organizer in events, be significant to your community, help the elderly, be respectful of your parents, but stay away from women. Do not allow any women to have one iota chance of getting a hold on your assets. Family law is stacked against fathers, don’t forget that.

The idea that Feminism isn’t dead is compromised by the absence of visible change. We haven’t had the autopsy. We haven’t had the funeral but that lingering smell of death is in the air.
You could liken it to the Labour defeat in 2008, when Helen Clark walked away from a political party, that she had destroyed. It took years of trying to recover, and the absence of experience and talent is clearly visible still.
After 50 years of roller-coaster madness, experimentation, and failure … how can that suddenly be repaired.
To my generation, men suffered directly, our children suffered indirectly. To the next generation the children suffer directly society suffered indirectly. Think of that in terms of teaching and teachers at their wits’ end.
The reality is not that Feminism isn’t dead.
It’s what in hell do we do now?
Look at the confusion.

It was lead article of RNZ this morning.
Mainly about the new leader. Morgan is an email voice in it, away on some overseas adventure.
A distant opinion perhaps in more ways than that?
