Faafoi – feedback wanted

Justice-Minister, Kris Faafoi is in the firing line with parents rights groups over the latest invasion of the family by state legislation.

Family First NZ says that if parents aren’t concerned about the conversion therapy bill introduced by the Government today, all they need to do is listen to the Minister of Justice explain the effect of the bill, and parents will quickly become very fearful.

  1. You have to ask yourself, what sort of dingaling who thinks they can push that nonsense on to mums and dads and not have it unnoticed. Imprison a parent for saying no to puberty blocking drugs for your 12 year old child?

You can do a lot of things to citizens. Limit their income, tax them more, starve them let them watch their tax dollars being wasted, send them to war.

You want to fool around with parents rights like Kris Faafoi just did, well, how is that going to work out?

How many votes does Labour think is in that strategy?

  3. “ Offence to perform conversion practice on person under age of 18 years or lacking decision-making capacity.”

Not hard to see what they are up to.

Child will lack decision making capacity until age 18 and won’t be able to consent to parental instruction.

It’s another major step in the removal of parental authority as happened with the Bradford Bill.

  5. Pure madness – Parental Rights Removed – Minority Group Takeover. All without a mandate from the larger public.

Scottish education secretary Shirley-Anne Somerville said: ‘This guidance outlines how schools can support transgender young people while ensuring that the rights of all pupils are fully respected’

Scotland will let pupils change gender aged FOUR without their parents’ consent under guidance for teachers that says ‘recognition and development of gender identity can occur at a young age’

  6. And when the baby pulls it’s nappy off and eats it’s own shit, that’s just developing their own taste.

No, you wouldn’t let your baby eat it’s own shit but you’d let your child’s head be filled with someone else’s shit.

A bit basic but I’m sure you get the idea.

  7. The Human Rights Commission has just launched its ‘rights-based guidelines for school uniforms‘. Most of it seems to amount to assertions of various ‘rights’ including those apparently accorded by recently manufactured ‘principles’ of Te Tiriti. The document provides some examples of how rights might apply to particular school uniform scenarios, and the last one is relevant to this post:

‘A transgender student changes the uniform items they wear
to reflect their gender identity, but the parents disagree.’

For the school it’s about supporting the student’s journey and it’s up to
the student when they want to involve parents. Students have the right
to confidentiality between them and the school counsellor. It’s not the
school’s role to inform the parents about the student’s identity journey.
Sometimes counsellors keep uniform items in their office for trans
students to change in to at school. The school’s LGBTQI club set up a
clothes swap so that trans students could get clothes from other genders if
they couldn’t afford to buy some themselves. Donated school uniforms are
also offered to trans students so there is no cost. The school also applies
to a trust fund to support students into a variety of things so the school
can purchase uniforms for students if they need/want brand new items. It’s
about student wellbeing and supporting them to feel safe and comfortable
    at school.

So the HRC is actively supporting the sabotage of parental authority by schools, and moreover supporting children lying to their parents. Great, that’s really going to help our society!
