President Trump Was Accurate About Charlottesville
Trump may have bullshitted the working class in the US to vote for him believing he will care about their welfare rather than his own profit. However, his election was also related to a rejection of the claims of modern ‘social justice’ warriors including feminists, and a desire for free and frank speech that isn’t repressed simply because someone claims to be ‘triggered’ or offended by opinions they don’t like.
Regarding the Charlottesville violence, Trump was quite correct in criticizing both sides of the melee. The white supremacists, neo nazis, alt right supporters and other like-minded folk had a permit to gather at the park to protest against the removal of a statue of Robert E Lee. Others who disagreed with those opinions ignored a fundamental principle on which U.S. democracy was founded, i.e. the freedom to hold, support and express one’s own political views. They attended with clubs and other weapons to try to deprive the protesters of their democratic right. Of course, the steel-capped brigade inside the park were also armed and quite happy to fight.
Since then, it seems that a majority of people have also chosen to ignore fundamental principles of freedom of political views and expression. So many continue to demand that those whom they disagree with should be prevented from existence and that President Trump single them out for criticism while turning a blind eye to the violence by the politically correct side.
The men’s movement has constantly been beset by the same attitudes. Media deliberately ignore their spokesmen, politicians ignore men’s issues and instead meet feminist demands to erode justice and fairness in how men are treated. When men tell the truth they are treated as though that’s a crime. But things are always changing and change is on the way. We need people prepared to express unpopular truths regardless of being shouted down or worse.
Oh dear you have been so non PC. How dare you criticise the people who speak for the downtrodden even if they wear steel-capped boots and are determined to put their point of view across. I do not like Trump nor do I like the PC brigade nor do I like the neo nazies. A plague on all their houses. Thank you for your statement.

I find that the general attitude towards mens issues is that of contempt, men take the attitude that ‘saying things like that isn’t going to get me any tonight, Id be accused of misogony’, women often consider that men (especially white men) are the entitled “privelleged” ones, ie – we have no right to utter our grievances, we should have compassion , but only towards females – feminist indoctrination is almost as strong here as communism is in North Korea, its systematic, its contaminating reasoning and common sence through our government, courts, social services, corrections etc.
Most Commonly, White male privelledge is the claim, throwbacks from the alt-right etc.
Being a white male means (to some) that no piont of view is worthy, and its not just frequently inferred in the media, but intrenched throughout information services in general.
Heres an example that might highlight my point.
-Do a google images search on the following words – “white man white woman white couple”
Its almost as if being born a white skinned male is thought to be ” wrong skinned, wrong gendered” and best quiet, unless told to speak up for anyone but ourselves.
Comment by voices back from the bush — Thu 17th August 2017 @ 9:38 pm
Trump is correct. The people who wear all black and balaclava etc are just as bad as the people wearing white dresses and hoods. There hasn’t been a race on earth that hasn’t been offenders with slavery. Maori included except they occasionally ate theirs as well. The European slave trade was an African slave trade run by Africans including wealthy Africans based in the US. The African trade lasted much longer supplying Arab nations than it did supplying European nations. Romans, Spartans, Egyptians, Mongols, Chinese, Native Americans etc etc all had lots of slavery. India still has a class system with one group pretty much living under slavery conditions. Many modern slaves are not owned by white men but Asian, Arab, African.
Trump made a good point that many in the past were involved in slavery but we don’t remove and destroy their statues. Washington and Jefferson in the US were Trumps example.
Then there is modern day slavery were the worker becomes so dependant on the job for survival that the reality of life is only a step or two from the slaves of Rome. Minus the floggings and feeding to the lions.
I don’t know any racial group that doesn’t have racial pride and many nations have not embraced multiculturalism as a result. While the White supremists stick out like a sore thumb in race predudices they are far from alone. Indians hate Pakistani, Jews hate Palestinians, North Koreans hate everybody.
Whenever a group protests no matter how despicable there point of view is, they should be left alone to protest and should not be attacked in an organised and thuggish way as occurred in Charlotsville. Such an action makes a mockery of democracy. The White supremists are so small in numbers that they are powerless to make change. Standing on the sidelines ignoring them and laughing at them is far more effective than giving them a platform to attract sympathisers. Hitler was attacked by counter protestors many times and look were that got humanity.
The reality is white males have become the most hated and denigrated group there is. The number of times the term old white men is used by social justice warriors is appalling. Not that the race relations commissioner has ever noticed the behaviour of many journalists and media outlets.
Eventually in a few thousand years humanity will more than likely be so interbred that none of this racist rubbish will matter anymore. So racism by any group is just stupid.
Gender however cannot be eradicated unless feminists get their way and some machine makes XX sperm so men are eradicated.
Damn I think I might have given gender supremacists (feminists) an idea.

The issue I have, and still have is this.
Anyone can report the news their own way. Like you say, who gives a shit about men’s issues.
It’s like what we used to call a letter to the editor, and yes we have an opinion. But people read the whole newspaper, and not in a way, that the oppressed male sees it.
They don’t get the picture, and the greater majority never will.
They will mourn their individual family suicides, unaware of the real causes. They may at some stage in their grief discuss this with other people. But Coroners will ‘protect’ vulnerable people from other nosey people.
On one hand you have political media services spoon feeding the political news and judges, some more than others, sensoring the news.
It’s not a small point, and it’s hard to understand. But look at Feminism like a farmer moving a herd of moving cows, and you are there with your two dogs. Your head dog and your hunt dog.
You can have your hunt dog bark all day and move them in the same direction, or you can send your head dog to the front and change their direction.
Until you understand this, said this way, or in many other ways, you will struggle to find people to join pointless endeavors.
But while this goes one, it does keep a few men alive, and I will keep writing about it.

There goes Downunder again @ 7. Attack, insult, ridicule, isn’t that all so much fun. Such a great way of fostering cooperation and a strong movement. It’s just too much trouble to offer an alternative opinion or new information or references to refute something he believed to be incorrect; no, much easier to just throw a bunch of offensive words.
Is the all-knowing Downunder claiming that Maori did not keep slaves and that they were not cannibals? That seems to be a rewriting of history, but we’re open to learning about any evidence for these claims, or indeed for any evidence that all the known evidence of Maori slavery and cannibalism was invalid.
As for Downunder’s comment about Egyptians, what was the point of it? DJ Ward made no reference to Egyptians being cannibals. As usual, any point Downunder intended to make was elusive.
Interestingly, Downunder’s approach to debate is very similar to that of the feminists and their allies: show no respect for others’ right to hold and express opinions, don’t bother providing reasoned, coherent rebuttal regarding things he disagrees with. Instead, just insult, demean and dismiss them.

#6 regarding Australian Aboriginies
I was thinking when I wrote that comment that they are a glaring exception.
Of the 1000s of identifiable groups on the planet I’m sure there’s many others.
There oral history doesn’t include slavery as part of their culture.
The American slavery like Roman slavery was industrial and the easiest to describe as slavery.
But slavery takes different forms in the tribal/nomadic construct.
To say that of the 1000s of tribal groups over 40,000 years that no despot never existed, that no tribe went over the hill and raped and pillaged, taking unwilling women as prizes is unbelievable.
They are from the humble opinion of a non professor of aboriginal oral or recorded history, appear to be the race with slavery being most absent in their behaviour.
I generalised in a people should not throw stones in a glass house sense.

3. We can all surely agree that all things nazi. Ethnic cleansing genocide and hatred are abhorrent to everyone.

DJ Ward @17: Some critical comments on Martin van Beynen’s article:
(i) It’s not up to journalists to decide who is a ‘nut job’ or whose cause is undesirable. That’s a dangerous policy likely to result in totalitarian states. Journalists do their job properly by reporting on things that people are interested in hearing about, things relevant to public safety and government, and by presenting all sides of debates. At most, journalists might try to avoid excessive, repeated, sensational attention to certain groups seen to be fringe, irrational or dangerous.
(ii) van Beynen suggests that journalists should put their heads, and therefore the collective public head, in the sand about what they see as moral wrongs in the hope that those wrongs will then not be ‘given oxygen’ and quietly disappear. Well some might but others will gather strength outside the glare of the public eye. Public accountability is an important social force and it’s foolish to imagine that state institutions and agents can replace it. Aside from that, it’s desirable for the public to be informed about social issues, debates and related events.
(iii) It would be nice if journalists reported on messages by groups who ‘play nice’ but they don’t; van Beynen is being unrealistic. NZ men’s groups have played nice for a long time, writing media releases, making submissions to political processes, organizing peaceful protests etc. Media almost totally ignore all this and seldom even publish good releases presumably because men’s issues are not seen as worthy, while all manner of feminist diatribe, falsehood and trivia is eagerly published. It was only when men played not-so-nice as in the Family Court protests and protests outside the houses of judges etc in the 1990s that media gave any significant coverage, no doubt hoping for the odd arson or murder to spice things up.
Comment by Man X Norton — Sat 19th August 2017 @ 9:09 am
WrongGender @19: I disagree that ‘we’ don’t bring solutions. Some contributors here have gone to a great deal of trouble and time to make sensible recommendations in submissions. to write letters and emails to editors and to media, to organize and turn up to protests, conferences etc, and this appears to have some influence. Laws and policies end up not being as draconian as the initial feminist thinking by the politicians and leaders were intending. Few politicians and even feminist spokeswomen now dare to make statements about violence etc in gender-specific ways that imply only men are perpetrators and only women are victims. The influence by the men’s movement has been limited because on the other side are many more shrill voices demanding femaleist policies, but things would be a lot worse if it were not for the activity of some men’s movement writers and agitators.
You are correct that bickering, bitching and fighting amongst ourselves is unhelpful and detracts from a cause. I would like to see a better standard of contribution involving reasoned debate rather than short, poorly explained demeaning insults.
However, it is important for “intellectual wankers” to engage in debate because from that better understanding, ideas and solutions can arise.
Ironically, you are engaging in your own bitching that demeans the efforts of others. You are doing exactly what you are criticizing. How about being supportive and acknowledging some efforts by others? Disapprove of those efforts if you see fit but at least be specific about your arguments.

America is a British Crown corporation and Trump is the CEO. The voters don’t select, they just elect from choices given. Hillary Clinton said in 2016 that “within twelve months of being prudent, we will be at war with Russia”!! What choice did Americans have? We have always received our information for our leaders and the Church and for the first time, we are finally starting to understand the patterns and the script. People are starting to see that the church is always involved with the wars arranged for us because they know that religion can be abused and is the only way to get people to act against their own interest. The question is, who are ‘they’. To find out who rules over you, ask who you are not allowed to criticise. There is a war going on and the enemy is within. It’s origin is from the pharaohs who were kicked out of Egypt and who made up a cover story that they were slaves. Taking 4000 years of their slave-mined gold, they brought their curse into Europe. They hate Europeans and found them much harder to enslave. Ask who funded both sides of WW1 and WW2 and look at how they got their church to encourage their flock to go to war on both sides. They tricked us into committing suicide. Before WW1 Europeans were 30% of the world population. We are now 5% and in three generations will be under 1%. They create diversity but they are bringing only divisiveness for their own selfish interests, which are to rule and keep their wealth forever at everyone else’s cost. They own nearly all Western media. Look at who is constantly maligned on TV and Hollywood movies with their slander and lies. It is Europeans. In America at the peak of slavery only 1.4% had slaves and they were the corporate landholders (the same usual suspects). Europeans in America were factually very opposed to slavery. In fact Europe was the ONLY place in the world that had no slavery. Their other tactic is to go for insults and name calling when inconvenient facts get in the way. There is no such thing aa a ‘white supremacist’ except on TV fiction. The Germans were not Nazis. The Nazis came from conveniently ‘ever neutral’ Switzerland, the home of the Hebrew international bankers who started WW1 and WW2 and funded both sides. Hitler was a traitor who’s role was to destroy Germany. I hate the Nazis. Hitler also planned to genocide the Slavic people of Europe, the blue-eyed blonde people he pretended to care about and who are the only race who are disappearing of the face of the earth. It’s a much more complicated story. History is fascinating. They don’t want us to know our history and no one can learn about it from the church, TV or education system

Hornet @20: Thinking about Charlottesville I came to some similar conclusions. I suspect the situation was deliberately engineered to become violent by the ‘politically correct’ dominated local administration which had voted to remove the statue of Robert E Lee after already renaming the park from Lee Park to Emancipation Park. By providing insufficient policing, by failing to ensure the anti-rally protesters kept to the areas they were permitted for (in two parks about 400 metres from ‘Emancipation Park’), and by failing to surround and protect the rally from the anti-rally mob, the council knew there would be a violent outcome that could be used for propaganda purposes against all those nasty white supremacists and to strengthen council’s hand concerning the removal of the statue. The ‘Unite the Right’ groups would be easy targets to blame for any undesirable outcome. The council’s decision to ban the rally just as it was gathering was an additional provocation certain to cause violence. That decision was not based on the behaviour of the ‘Unite the Right’ groups but because of the proximity, provocations and hostility of the anti-rally groups surrounding the park when they could have made their voices heard from the parks a safer distance away. It has been reported that both sides included planted armed troublemakers who were not actually part of either movement. The murderous violence by the lone car driver was then a very welcome outcome for the council’s propaganda purposes and the council has dined out on that ever since.

Those who want control of the world want WAR……they want us all killing each other.
If one looks at the build up to the Vietnam war….the exact same tactics were in play……all those who want peace were targetted and ridiculed.
Government need a nation unified against a common created threat…..in the past it was “communism” then we had “terrorism”, and now of coarse its a tiny obscure nation in North korea……which just happened to receive nukes and built inter continental ballistic missiles within two, short years….- technology which took other nations 30 plus years to develop….and against all the sanctions and economic restrictions that were allegedly in place. How could this be? It’s simply not plausible.
Unfortunately any created war in the south China sea will be deliberately created to drag NZ and OZ into conflict…….WHY you might ask?
Because we have resources, lots of resources for exploitation…….and if you can’t get them peacefully….you create a war…..a massive conflict which then provides the excuse to invade nations and take them.
We see similar threats against Venezuela recently …threats of invasion to protect the people from a nasty “dictator”…..almost,like a scene from doctor evil…..Austin powers………another nation deliberately imploded economically and which is on the cusp of civil war…..and surprise surprise……another nation rich in OIL.
And if you had not all noticed NZ has been economically impoverished over the last 9 years – plutocracy – rule by the rich – Pluto the God of the underworld where all the riches await exploitation…..NZ has been deliberately lumbered with massive debt and many a created social crisis……..the perfect conditions for NZ and its people to be devided and then ravaged, and exploited.
I await the Avalanche of negative comments from Down Under…….I wonder if he is related to Pluto?

That in my understanding is for simiilar reasons why we saw the change in English History to a Constitutional Monarchy, which I believe worked well enough here, until the day Helen Clark openly declared on the 6 pm news.
“WE, are building a civil society.”
In my understanding of Feminism that means; WE, will do what we want, and you can go fuck yourselves. (That may not have been the public perception of the statement).
That said – however you view the Royals, in my mind has very little to do with the arogance of those who as @Hornet would say, are disposing of Criminal Law, which I agree with, but not for reasons I would suggest Hornet understands.
The issue I believe is Feminists exercising their understanding of what they are creating, shadowed by our ignorance.

Far better than answering few questions.
But it created a problem.
The media hates him.
So he was always on the defensive.
