We’ve come for your children, we must take all four!

Filed under: General — MurrayBacon @ 9:06 am

That terrible night, the four children slept
“Social Service” were coming, their mother just wept!
Two burly strangers soon broke down the door,
We’ve come for your children, we must take all four!
The “Social worker” told you “keep perfectly calm”
Your kids are at risk of suffering harm!
So struggling and kicking and screaming with fright
four terrified children, dragged off in the night!
The mother was suicidal, her children were lost
Adoption the target, to save on the cost!
The emotions of children, they did ignore!
This demo will bring a terrible uproar.

Men’s Concerns are Gaining Traction

There is increasing evidence that men speaking up are gaining a little traction. The Labour Party leadership’s rapid retreat from the ‘man-ban’, sexist exclusion of men from electorates (that can only be described as a misandrist corruption of democracy) was one example. We believe that 2, or 5 or 10 years ago no male Labour person would have dared oppose such feminist privilege. (more…)

UK dads

Filed under: General — triassic @ 7:15 am

Below link is an interesting look at last nights UK ITV’s ‘fatherless children’ program. The attitude toward fathers of society in general is expressed succinctly in the first few minutes by Zirene, a mother of Manchester, where in total ignorance and narcissism states that her absent children’s father is missing out, not the kids because “they have ME! and that’s all they need”

GPS monitoring of protection-order respondents

FYI, our letter to Hon Anne Tolley regarding her Radio NZ interview on 16 May 2013, that can be heard here.

It’s incredible how complacent kiwis are about government removal of civil rights and fair treatment. We believe western governments including New Zealand are preparing for major repression of their populations and are awarding themselves more and more powers and laws for this purpose. Regardless, Tolley’s proposal will impact almost exclusively on men and we need to pay attention to this development. (more…)

Girl, 8 murdered for wanting her father…?

Filed under: General — Brendon Smith @ 11:07 pm

Is it just me or does this not speak volumes… Girl is taken away from her dad, into a foreign country, by her mum with another man in her house. He tries feebly, but fails to be a protective step-dad.. girl asks to see her dad, before too long, she is dead. There are many mental health issues in families who end up separating. How many times is this pattern playing out in houses where the children are not killed?

Radio NZ piece on Infanticide

Filed under: Domestic Violence,Gender Politics,General,Law & Courts — Ministry of Men's Affairs @ 6:37 pm

FYI, our email to the ‘Nine to Noon’ programme on National Radio, Radio NZ concerning its piece on Infanticide this morning (you can hear it here):

Dear Nine to Noon

Infanticide is one of our laws that remains blatantly sexist, that treats offending by a woman as somehow more acceptable than the same offending by a man. (more…)

Father’s Day 1st September Sydney

Greg Andresen of Men’s Health Australia has set up a March for Father’s Day, 1st September Sunday, at Hyde Park Corner, Sydney.

The Theme is A Voice for Children and is against all of the commercial forms of Parental Alienation.

These issues are even more of a problem in New Zealand than in Australia, where the caught$ do give children some protection from parental abduction by mothers.

The failings start with the police who process Apprehended Domestic Violence Orders (ADVO) on the basis of personal statements, (more…)

Visit with Erin Pizzey

Filed under: Domestic Violence,Gender Politics — JohnPotter @ 10:56 pm

Yesterday my wife Felicity and I visited one of our long time heroines Erin Pizzey at her home in Twickenham. Erin is famous for founding the world’s first Women’s Refuge back in 1971. The movement she started was subsequently hijacked by militant radical feminists with a Marxist agenda.

She was subject to villification and even death threats after she published her book Prone to Violence (now out-or-print but available online here), which revealed that most of the women entering her refuge were equally as violent or more violent than their husbands.

KFC thinks female violence is funny

Filed under: Domestic Violence — JohnPotter @ 8:03 pm

Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) is currently running ads to promote its new Hot Shot Bites. The spots feature a woman violently slapping a man.

According to the KFC Facebook page, these adverts are intended to be humorous.

The organisation SAVE Stop Abusive and Violent Environments is running an international campaign to get these misandrist adverts removed. SAVE notes that men are more likely than women to be victims of domestic violence and that research shows a woman’s initiation of partner violence is the leading cause of female domestic violence injury.

New child support formula, potential issue

Hi

Just trying to get my head around the new child support calculations that will come in next year. I instigated a review earlier in the year and my son’s mother had no PAYE income but in excess of $120,000 listed in other sources, I.e shares, dividends, trusts etc. With the new formula it is based upon taxable income, I.e PAYE, she will no doubt put zero again. I have son 36% of the nights in a court order. Just trying to be proactive here, anyone in a similar situation.

Felicity Goodyear-Smith vilified in UK

The on-going campaign to discredit my wife’s professional reputation has just derailed a major international collaboration she has been working on.

As some MENZ readers will be aware, I am currently staying with her in London while she is on sabbatical from her position as Head of Department and Goodfellow Postgraduate Chair of General Practice and Primary Health Care at Auckland University.

We have just learned that a UK sociologist has been busy ringing all the other academics involved in the project, (more…)

Correct thinking by Muriel Newman

Article on NZCPR Weekly By Dr Muriel Newman:

Compehensive welfare reforms now underway

Over the years our welfare rolls burgeoned – especially once the stand-alone Domestic Purposes Benefit was introduced in the early seventies. Pushed by feminists as a way of enabling women to raise their children independent from men, the DPB incentivised family breakdown – undermining marriage and creating widespread fatherlessness.

Characteristics of Children Raised in Biological Family vs Other Arrangements

Filed under: General — Ministry of Men's Affairs @ 11:11 pm

Actually this table is derived, otherwise accurately, from a study that compared children who grew up in a ‘Mom and Dad’ family with children whose mother had a sexual relationship with another woman in various family arrangements, rather than having ‘Two Moms’ . But it’s still possibly a bit interesting.

Madness or is it just me

Filed under: Domestic Violence,General — allan harvey @ 5:11 pm

Am I mad?

Umm just wanting to check my sanity. Associate Professor of Law at Auckland University Ms Julia Tolmie surely must be sane. Such an important position, such responsibility to be appointed to chair the Family Violence Deaths Review Committee.

Legal gap for battered spouses who kill

Moves to push for a law change allowing battered wives who kill their husbands in cold blood to plead self-defence are being considered by a government committee.

The Family Violence Deaths Review Committee says New Zealand is out of step with other countries in not offering at least a partial defence for women who kill their husbands after years of abuse.

Is the Family Court unfair to Mothers – North and South article

Statistics show men are doing slightly better in the Family Court since the protests (by un-identified “father’s rights groups” according to the article) of the early 2000s. Currently fathers win 45% of contested orders instead of 41% or less previously. While this is little cause for celebration by men,  according to feminists interviewed by North and South, this is a disaster.

False sexual abuse allegation

Hi All,

I’m not sure how unique my situation is, but feel compelled to share my experience with others out there….and I know that this will strike a chord with some.

My daughter (adopted) was unhappy about some things on the home front (having to do chores for pocket money, having to eat everything on the dinner plate for dessert, and not getting an iPhone for her birthday, etc…), standard gripes for a preteen…. As a matter of fact she was so disappointed that she went to a counsellor at her school and reported that I was beating her. Needless to say CPS were right on the case with a Notice of Concern.
