Sureal double standard

I find this story rather sureal. The situation seems to be that a family traveled willingly to another country. It is implied that the father then decided to stay in that country with his children and with the mother if she wishes. The mother was always free to leave at any time. The father has […]

Investigating Judicial Complaints around World

Thu 23rd February 2012:

DownUnder gave examples of unsatisfactory and illegal performance by familycaught “judges”, so I though that a brief international comparison would help to understand this issue: NZ California The Constitution authorizes the Commission to continue proceedings after a judge retires or resigns UK Annual Report UK USA seems to be proactively addressing these issues. UK is […]

Accountability Delayed

Wed 15th February 2012:

The New Zealand Herald carried an article about 16 year jail sentences given to two executives, as a result of 3000 asbestos related deaths of workers and neighbours of the factory. Note that the executives didn’t bother to attend the trial and I guess might not care to attend the jail either?

Donation of Sperm as Seen by the Egg

Tue 14th February 2012:

Putting oneself into the position of another, is a challenge. Especially when the viewpoint is of children or babies, who are not well placed to verbalise their needs or desires. Vulnerable Children – Green Paper Submissions

Thu 26th January 2012:

The NZ government’s childrens action plan: Your opportunity to have your say here: 9 key questions etc. etc. Maybe it’s just me; but the more I looked at this government kids action plan, the more I thought about one irksome question; how many mums and dads have killed themselves as a direct result of the […]

Bigamy should be legal

Sat 21st January 2012:

Either a marriage contract in New Zealand should be overhaulled to require man and wife to committ to each other or else Bigamy should be legal. We can’t have the current situation which is hypocracy. New Zealand marriage laws make no sence unless you view it as a contract to extract money from men and […]

Judging our judges

Thu 19th January 2012:

In books about Human Experimentation, the point is made that when experimenting on humans, it should be done with informed consent. If we don’t have a good idea of what outcomes are expected, then we are experimenting.

On trial for the truth

Sun 15th January 2012:

“Most of you have probably read tons of articles about Western society’s war on fathers and families. How fathers are forcefully separated from their children against their will, falsely accused of despicable crimes, shamed, and discriminated against by the family courts. Well, Sweden is of course no exception to that rule; quite the contrary. Neither […]

Debunking Handbook from Queensland

Wed 11th January 2012:

A very practical presentation, about how to achieve Debunking in the real world, is available from John Cook and Stephan Lewandowsky. They are very careful to warn about the way the debunking is presented and show how jumping straight into the core misinformation can easily reinforce the very “untruths” that you are seeking to expose! […]

Crown Prosecutor Tries to Avoid Conviction for Theft

Tue 13th December 2011:

The New Zealand Herald has continued its habit of White Knight chivalry by refusing to name the female Crown Prosecutor who was caught deliberately stealing almost $200 worth of groceries by putting them in her own bag, covering them up, then paying for just $11 worth of items that she placed in the supermarket basket.

Mum was found breastfeeding her baby while high on P

Sat 3rd December 2011:

I don’t know why anyone would be shocked by this. We spend over $1.7 billion dollars on the DPB which we know leads to these outcomes. Why all of a sudden pretend to be shocked?

Impact of abortion on men

Fri 25th November 2011:

This topic is not discussed sufficiently. Although men are sometimes derided, for getting women into the situation where an abortion may be “needed”, men may experience strong feelings of loss and hurt. If these are not understood, they may come back as psychological problems…. This difficult topic is well covered, in my opinion, on Life […]

Kerry, Craig and I have now decided to form a group under the banner ‘Ministry of Men’s Affairs’ to distribute press releases etc. We think the title will […]

A Personal Experience of Police Sexism

Sun 6th November 2011:
