A new set of harsher standalone offences may come from a comprehensive review of New Zealand’s domestic violence problem, the Justice Ministry announced last week.

This article is more specifically about a father viewing these proposed laws from the perspective of his autistic son’s mental health issues.

Police were working with the Health Ministry and other agencies, including Autism NZ, to improve how they dealt with the issue, which included “enhanced” mental health training given to officers by people who had gone through mental distress and had dealt with police while in crisis.

The irony here of course, is that a woman will be able to have a complete meltdown and her husband or partner will get arrested without any consideration for his mental health, well-being, or personal circumstances.

Creating these specific offences will go exactly were we might expect; justifying the worst side of women.

Women’s Meltdown Law … and that of course is for the benefit and wellbeing of the children of the next generation – Yeah Right.

We share and comment on an interesting broadcast by Radio NZ on ‘Te Manu Korihi’ (‘the birds singing’) on 7 August 2015. Excerpts from the transcript were as follows:

Presenter: The head of the Federation of Maori Authorities says Maori men need to step up and be more supportive of Maori businesswomen. The Authority runs an annual hui for Maori wahine to support the progression of women in top business leadership roles. Te Manu Korihi’s Alexa Cook reports:

AC: “The chair of the authority, Tracey Haupapa, says wahine face challenges in progressing up the business ladder to senior leadership roles such as chief executive and manager. Ms Haupapa says for women to move forward in business, men need to be more supportive.”

The Court of Appeal is said to have “reached a new milestone” in having its first all-women bench in its history. This was seen by New Zealand Law Society President Chris Moore as being “another step in a long road to equality”.

Mr Moore has clearly been well trained in feminist logic. ‘Equality’ for feminists means total female dominance. You just need to understand the feminist definitions of words you thought meant something else.

So are Women’s Refuge implying that internet trolling and anonymous victimization is something men mainly do to women? All they need to do is visit almost any feminist blog to see the misandrist online violence perpetrated by women, or look through MENZ Issues to read the demeaning, emotionally abusive responses by presumably female feminist trolls to many viewpoints expressed by men.

This news article disturbs me on many fronts. To allow a new or current partner secret access to someone’s historical police record that is sealed will only end in corrupting relationships and could potentially end in male suicide.

Dear Morning Report

At 8:28am today 03/08/2015 you broadcast an article entitled ‘Judge says change needed to make protection orders effective’. Your announcer commenced by stating “14 women, 6 men and 10 children are killed by a member of their family every year on average; pretty extraordinary statistics…”. Your web site also states “Fourteen women, six men and ten children are killed by a member of their family every year on average…”. (more…)

This story Was front page news. It is only when one reads the facts that the headline disintegrates. The girl in the bikini was not attacked at all. Her boyfriend was the target of aggression because he took umbrage at the guys being cheeky. Things got out of hand and an object was thrown and hit the girl. This is not happening in NZ, no, this is happening way over in Louisianna USA for God sake. Why the F*** would this WELL SPUN story be of value to readers way down under? Only the Herald knows the answer to that but I’m pretty sure some wanker in the office has an anti-male agenda and the Editor is now happy for the paper to be a gossip piece. What a pathetic newspaper it has become.

So today I was helping a friend of mine work out their entitlements though Winz and IRD, my friend is a Single Parent with a child under 5.

For them renting a 2 bedroom unit in South Auckland for $300 a week, and working 20 hours a week at min wage, their total take home weekly income will be $724 a week, including child support from the Non Custodial Parent who has care of the child 2 nights a week.

Tony Robertson committed seriously disturbed sexual and sexually motivated offences against children and was sentenced to eight years prison. It may well be that he would have committed the horrific running down, injuring, rape and murder of Blessie Gotingco after his release if given half a chance. However, it may also be that if he had been able to get on with his life after his sentence as used to happen, he would have found some worthwhile way of supporting himself and choosing a better life. Even if he committed further sexual offending this would probably not have been fatal and he would soon have been caught and imprisoned for another long duration, to the relief of the community. Instead, what happened was that on the basis of fortune telling about his future behaviour, after he had served his entire 8 years for his previous crimes he was given a further 10-year sentence of ‘extended supervision’ and he gave up caring about anything.

In this NZ herald article the final line says it all. Rather than being portrayed a loving wise father wishing to protect his daughters inheritance, and therefore setting up protections and persuasions for such, he is simply labeled as a ‘controller’. The etymology of this word in this context is derogatory and the Herald must know it. The tag line from the NYP is the authors opinion and is offensive to many fathers so why not leave it out? This father is a very wise man and does not wish to have HIS money frittered away by irresponsible daughters so he lays out clearly some strict guild lines on how they should better themselves in the hope that they can hold onto their inheritance.I have done the same for my 2 daughters within my trust.

A nice story spoiled by a bitchy ending.

This Act came into force on July 3. It’s probably a good idea for all posters to check out the information about it published by the Dept of Justice. It seems to provide the opportunity for people who don’t like something that was posted to ask/demand that it be taken down. The site administrator then needs to contact the author and ask if it can be taken down. If the author refuses, so the story goes, then the aggrieved party can take the matter to as-yet-to-be-established agency and then to a District Court which can order the post be removed. (more…)

When Men Experience Violence – An Interview with Researcher Shelley Johnson

Well, I was amazed to find that of the assaults in the Canterbury region from July 2014-March 2015, 38% involved a male victim.

All the media is around males being the perpetrator and females being the victim but there are males that are victims and it’s the male victims that are not gaining support.

We noticed that Labour MP Kelvin Davis wore a prominent white ribbon in parliament and during subsequent news interviews when he challenged the government about a possible cover-up concerning the death of an inmate who was thrown off a balcony in one of our privately-run prisons. Hey, it’s great to see any politician pay any attention to the welfare of a man no matter what the motive, this happens so rarely. However, Mr Davis’ white ribbon made it clear that his stand was nothing more than political gamesmanship. It can only be disingenuous to pretend that you care about a man while you overtly support a campaign that deliberately and pointedly excludes men as deserving of called-for protection from violence and that promotes false propaganda that only men commit violence worthy of concern. Wearing a white ribbon while pretending to care about a male victim frankly amounts to mocking men and their welfare concerns. Ha ha, we get the joke Kelvin. One may as well wear a Ku Klux Klan outfit while grandstanding about the misfortune of an African-American. For anyone who thinks honestly about it, a white ribbon is like a Ku Klux Klan badge promoting gender discrimination against men. (more…)

Reading through the previous post, NZ Men Fed up with the Family Court, it occurs to me that some history from a few years back may be of interest to some of the commenters.

At the time I arrived on the scene of the Family Court chaos and corruption, the North Shore Men’s Centre had already been formed. I was in Auckland, it was my point of entry, to what was happening at the time.

Yo feminists, remember when you preached about Rihanna being a typical victim of male violence when she and Chris Brown had an intimate partner altercation? Remember how you slagged off Chris as a tyrant? We’ll take a look at the mind of that victim in this video created and directed by Rihanna.
“Bitch-better-have-my-money” Reveals the violence and anger lying below that cute lady’s exterior. Much the same way it lies beneath a lot of these so called lady victims.

Truth is that these violent women provoke violent attacks on themselves and quite often precipitate the same violence on the male partner but in their rage forget they don’t have the strength to have the desired result.

Rihanna is a very talented and creative girl and this latest creation of hers gives us concrete evidence that you don’t need balls to have a violent nature lurking beneath.

There is a lot that could be said about the recent deaths of a mother and three children in Ashburton. You could hardly be blamed for thinking ‘oh no, not another Ed Livingstone‘ when this story initially went to air.

This article was interesting: Moms, Let Dad Be Dad It raises questions about the adequacy of all those parenting assessments done mainly by female psychologists in Family Court with misguided assumptions about what constitutes good parenting and bonding. (It goes without saying that most of those assessments found the mothers to be superior and were often used to further deprive children of their father’s role…)

Another observation we make with respect to this research was that it was done by a female, and the journalist who reported it was also female. It’s encouraging to see women prioritize reasoning and the pursuit of truth over self-serving feminist ideology. However, it’s also a sad indictment on our era that when it comes to families, parenting and even fatherhood, research and reasoning are much more likely to attract media coverage when undertaken by women. Men’s perspectives and wisdom continues to be generally ignored by mainstream media, though we are starting to see some signs of change.

I do not see anything bizarre about any of these campaigns

Woman in custody over Wellington stabbing spree
Hark, did I hear some hint of concern from Women’s Refuge, Shine, White Ribbon and the many other male-blaming feminist groups about this family violence? No, I must have been mistaken, that was just the sound of them sipping tea as they discuss their next campaign to convince the population that only men commit violence worth worrying about and violence only matters when it’s done towards women.
