Kiwi tinder gang rape claim

Filed under: General — Lukenz @ 8:17 pm

http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=11341284

Ide like to know what the Oz cops spent on this woman and her false gang rape claim.

I note the Oz law is 7 years for a false complaint. NZ is only 3. But in reality it’s nil because they almost never charge and if it ever goes to court there’s just a warning.

Male Victim of Serious Violence Doesn’t Get Justice

Filed under: General — Ministry of Men's Affairs @ 8:32 am

Here is a good example of New Zealand’s attitude regarding violence towards males. A man had almost every bone in the right side of his face broken, underwent numerous facial reconstruction surgeries, has titanium plates in his skull and suffers permanent damage and ongoing complicaitons. The attacker was charged with the serious offence ‘injuring with intent to injure’. Court delays ensued for various reasons and because of this the case has now been thrown out by a judge. The victim claims he was ready to go on all of the previous hearing dates that were adjourned. (more…)

And now, the Brenda Leyland Pussy Pass!

Filed under: General — Ministry of Men's Affairs @ 10:00 pm

Brenda Leyland committed suicide (apparently), a few days after a tv crew ‘outed’ her for making thousands of tweets under a false identity mostly expressing blame and hatred towards Madeline McCann’s parents. For example “I fear, that we are in this 4 long haul, up to all of us to a) Bang home the facts b) make mccann s live in shame for years”. (more…)

The White Fibbin’ Anti Male Propaganda Campaign

Filed under: General — Ministry of Men's Affairs @ 7:18 am

Misguided men continue to be hoodwinked into supporting this discriminatory campaign. Note the trickery where this campaign that cares only about women and demonizes only men, refers to itself as “inspiring and equipping men to help stop violence in their communities” and “this Hui effectively engaged men, educating and inspiring them about violence”. So these white knights are redefining ‘communities’ as consisting of women as the only significant members and redefining ‘violence’ as something done only when it’s against women.

Feel free to provide some feedback to [email protected] but be aware that these arrogant ideologues have absolutely no interest in discussing the issues and will soon block anyone who dares to raise any concerns about their divisive, discriminatory, misandrist hate campaign. (more…)

The Men of Middle Earth

Filed under: General — Downunder @ 12:27 pm

Affectionately named Middle Earth after our involvement in The Lord of the Rings production, one can’t help thinking, that to the rest of the world New Zealand might look like the scene of one of Tolkien’s legendary battles, following our recent and ugly parliamentary election; just how you would characterise the Labour Party after their tragic loss, I will leave to the imagination of the reader.

But what of the men of middle earth – where has that left us?

That discussion started in the post, The Killing Power of Feminism, and drew the conclusion; (more…)

Are All Men Pedophiles?

Filed under: General — triassic @ 4:01 am

sex

This documentary is a great study into male sexuality. Be sure to watch it past the end credits for a commentary by the Director Jan-Willem Breure. The amount of information on female sexuality has nearly filled the universe so this doco is very welcome. Male sexuality hardly gets a mention other than the negative aspects. There are many things that we know about the subject but an abundance of things we don’t. What I liked about this doco is its juxtaposition of the medias interpretation of pedophilia to that of sexologists. The disgust men feel about pedophilia, and those that practice it, prevents healthy discourse. The male desire for the shape of the female body past puberty is NORMAL, HEALTHY and should never bring a sense of shame. What is shameful is when males have no control over that desire and no respect for the person, whose body it belongs to.

The Killing Power of Feminism

Filed under: General — Downunder @ 10:42 am

Election 2014 for New Zealand is over.

It’s been an interesting election in many ways, some of which are discussed on this site in posts over the last 6 months while others are so not relevant to us here; collectively this has been overwhelming, in the media and on the outcome of the election, but what should not escape us is the dramatic and very real depiction of political feminism in action. Child Support and Salary Sacrifice. Are they F’n Serious!!!!!!

Hi Folks,

Well there I was thinking I could salary package my car and try and save a bit on tax and running costs each year. But, stupid me hadn’t realised, until I read the following article http://www.salarypackagingcards.com.au/index.php/child-support-salary-packaging/ , that if I salary package my car I will have to pay even more in Child Tax. I confirmed this with the Novated Leasing agent and it is in fact true. I still can’t believe it and I hope it isn’t the same in NZ but it’s certainly the case over here in Oz. So, by some magic form of creative accounting the CSA people calculate that I am being given a car which I’m actually paying for and calculate the whole thing as a fringe benefit. It seems that I can’t even take a dump without incurring more child tax. I am utterly gob smacked. Have any of you guys come across a similar thing. It seems like discrimination is a bad thing unless the discrimination is against a liable parent. I feel like a social leper. All my colleagues are salary sacrificing their cars and are saving money but it will actually cost me money because I am a liable dad!!!

Social Workers Day a time to celebrate – PSA
PSA, Fuseworks September 24, 2014, 7:49 pm

The Public Service Association (PSA) is celebrating Social Workers Day today, and congratulates the Aotearoa New Zealand Association of Social Workers (ANZASW) on 50 years of being the voice of the profession.

Glenn Barclay, PSA acting national secretary, said “social workers help countless New Zealanders every year,” “The PSA is proud of what our social work members do to help improve the lives of people across the country. “As the union for social workers, we represent over a thousand highly skilled and hardworking people who are passionate about helping people thrive. “Social workers do their jobs in a wide variety of settings, including District Health Boards; Child, Youth and Family, and across the community sector. “This year is the 50th anniversary of ANZASW, and we’re proud to work alongside them to help social workers do their best. “Thank you to all social workers, we truly value your skills, expertise and passion,” said Glenn Barclay.

Surely Barclay wasn’t referring to CYFS was he? Improving “the lives of people across the country”; maybe improving the lot for employees of CYFS but certainly not the children and families who have had to suffer their PC, bureaucratic and autocratic intolerance.

Social workers day – surely a day to forget.

Men’s Rights Sydney

Filed under: General — Downunder @ 1:36 pm

The MRS website It’s a terrible acronym, isn’t it. Maybe even worse than MOMA (Ministry of Men’s Affairs).

They exist, it’s a point of contact, and they hold meetings. So if you’re a male escaping New Zealand and headed to Sydney, could be a good place to start.

Men’s Rights Sydney usually meets once a month in the suburb of Newtown. As we are still a fairly young group, meetings are being organised on an ad hoc basis. If you are interested in attending, just send us a PM containing your name (first name is fine) & your email address & we will email you the details of our next meeting.

There could be an opening for reciprocal trade in males escaping the tyranny of the system, if we had a comparative organisation in Auckland (MRA)

On a historical note – we’re probably in better position than the Woman’s Libbers. Wellington organisation for women (WOW) was ok, but Christchurch and Southland groups had a bit of a problem with the format.

Non Resident for Tax Purposes. Does IRD still enforce Collection now that she’s abroad permanently?

Sorry about the boring title folks but I am a bit curious about how IRD can force me to pay Child Support after the mother has been out of the country for a year or more. The mother of my children has taken my 2 kids to Canada to live permanently. All 3 (her and the 2 kids) have both NZ and Canadian citizenship. They relocated about 3 months ago. So, they now live permanently in Canada and I live in Australia where I’ve been for the past 5 years. IRD seem to think that I will have to keep paying and paying and paying until my youngest is 19. It seems a bit odd to me that they can enforce this when she’s living in another country and they have no way of knowing if, for example, my daughter is working full time. Come to think of it IRD don’t really have any way of keeping tabs on her at all now that she’s under a foreign countries jurisdiction. Does anyone out there know anything about the IRD CS laws and how they apply to this situation? Can she initiate an Admin Review against me for example now that she’s permanently relocated overseas? Thanks in advance.

A Feminist adjustment in New Zealand Election

Filed under: General — Downunder @ 12:28 pm

Old sayings are often a reflection of a different era and in effect become modern day myths. One such saying that comes to mind is that men only vote for their wallet. When they had families to support they may have been more inclined to do so, but this election has put the saying firmly in the myth category.

The National Party has seen an impressive win under our current electoral system (similar to the German MMP system); did men go running to National because of their wallets? No, of course they didn’t, Labour was offering a $2.00 an hour increase in the minimum wage.

Did men abandon Labour? Yes, of course they did as was discussed in NZ Labour and the feminist election campaign; even they admit it.

Was that enough to give National such a resounding success or is there more to it than that? (more…)

Internet Mana Feminist Party

Filed under: General — Downunder @ 2:23 pm

It came out loud and clear as far back as July that election 2014 was going to be the election of the feminist, or so THEY thought. Most of the relevant posts can be accessed through a previous post New Zealand Labour and the Feminist Election Campaign.

The post election analysis is going to be interesting, not only for what we might say here, but what the New Zealand media might actually say about it.

The campaign got even more overt when Internet-Mana announced that it WAS a ‘feminist party – one step up on Labour running a feminist campaign whilst trying to pretend that they weren’t really a feminist party. (more…)

Who’s Lying, Who’s Self-Justifying? Origins of the He Said/She Said Gap in Sexual Allegations

The Woody Allen sex scandal of 2013 triggered a national conversation on who to believe, with people lining up on each side as if they knew what really happened.

Based on recent research on how people navigate the often tricky waters of sexual negotiation, Dr. Carol Tavris shows that it is entirely possible in some sexual assault cases neither side is lying, but instead both sides feel justified in their positions.

This talk was considered one of the best ever given at The 2014 Amazing Meeting.

Filed under: General — Downunder @ 7:58 am

Steve Taylor, who is eighth on the Conservative list, and will make it to Parliament if the party gets 6-7 per cent of the vote, is vowing to advocate for “radical change to the fractured and toxic matrix that is the New Zealand Family Court” if he is elected. He also promises to name offenders who have name suppression.

Increasing Drug Deaths for Men

Something that has become apparent to me during the last year is the sea change in the British Media around the reporting of men’s issues. I am not making any claim that their media has lost all sexist bias, but certainly there has been a significant change in the nature of their reporting.

When I saw this graphic, naturally it made me think, what is the situation in New Zealand?

No vote for New Zealand Prisoners

The subject was discussed recently in The Rights of Men (2)

Quinn’s Act passed in 2010 introduced a blanket ban removing the right of a prisoner to the vote. The law has been challenged by an Auckland Prison inmate, Arthur Taylor, as being inconsistent with our Treaty of Waitangi and our Bill of Rights.

A decision was released late yesterday NZ time by Justice Ellis as reported here by Radio New Zealand (RNZ). (more…)
